Philip Shaw's steps halted slightly.
He looked down at Angela Summer blocking his way, his voice growing increasingly cold: "I think you've gone mad!"
"I am mad." Angela Summer's breath was rapid as she stared intently at Philip Shaw, her voice hoarse and shrill, "I'd rather be mad than watch you fall deeper into despair! What exactly are you heartbroken over? Why did you drive Miss Aldana Candi away? Young Master, we're all striving for your well-being, why have you given up before us?"
The man's face was arrogant and indifferent, seeming to disdain answering her questions, he said coldly: "Get out of the way!"
"I won't move!" Angela Summer shouted, "I want you to live well! Live better than anyone, live nobler than anyone..."
Philip Shaw interrupted her, softly asking: "And more lonely than anyone?"
Angela Summer looked at him, in Philip Shaw's calm pupils seemed to linger traces of sadness.
Such a sentiment appearing in this man's eyes was enough to frighten her.
