The maid called Sophie saw Aldana standing beside him, curiously glanced at her a few times, and asked, "Mr. Summer, where does this lady live?"
"Just stay in my room. Put her clothes in my closet too."
"My goodness—is she Mr. Summer's girlfriend?!"
Liam Summer corrected, "Fiancée."
Aldana was silent, listening to the two of them bantering.
Liam Summer looked down at her, "I need to go to the research institute for a while, do you want to come and see?"
Aldana shook her head.
She wasn't interested, nor did she have the desire.
Liam Summer looked at her slightly pale face, and said gently, "Then rest in my room, I'll come back to accompany you tonight."
Aldana struggled a bit, "I want to stay in the guest room."
Liam Summer continued, "I'll call someone to buy you a phone later, anything else you need?"
"......" Aldana lowered her head, "No, nothing else."
He stroked her hair like petting a kitten, then patted her shoulder lightly, "I'll be going then."
