Father Chip didn't rush and said, "Didn't borrow it from anyone special, just from the folks on the streets. Borrowed 50,000 from them, and after one month, we'll have to return 100,000 including interest. The IOU states it's 100,000 bucks."
"You old scoundrel! Borrow 50,000, repay 100,000? From which bandits did you borrow the money?" Mother Chip's eyes were almost bulging out.
"Mom, look at your stingy face, isn't it just 50,000 bucks more? Wouldn't it be fine to ask Jillian Carter for it? It's not like we can't repay the debt; now that we've got a hundred million, will you still care about 50,000 bucks?"
