At that moment, a staff member approached her, checked an iPad, then bent down and politely said to her, "Excuse me, guest. The show is starting in five minutes. Could you please return to your seat?"
Miranda Lewis felt as if she'd been blatantly slapped in the face. Embarrassed and awkward, she said, "I was personally invited by Ms. Prada. I want to sit here."
"I'm sorry, but seating for the show was arranged earlier. Your seat is not here," the staff member repeated impassively.
