Enna Clark had just stepped out of the elevator when she received an apology text from Tiffany Clifford.
In the message, she apologized for her mother-in-law's rash request for Enna's help and asked Enna not to take her mother-in-law's words to heart. She had already explained to her mother-in-law that it wouldn't happen again.
Enna didn't expect Tiffany to know about it so quickly and to text her.
She really hadn't held it against the old lady and understood the parents' wish for their children to have better lives.
