Old Master Lawrence was a keen observer and could tell from the first glance that Wendy Hanson and Enna Clark had some conflict. He also noticed how Wendy Hanson competes subtly with Enna Clark, but since Enna was clearly winning, he didn't interfere.
Mr. Hanson also noticed his granddaughter trying desperately to outperform, and after observing Old Master Lawrence's reaction, he sighed helplessly and called out, "Wendy, come here."
