"Will seeing them make you feel a little better?" Adam Sinclair didn't believe it would make her feel better, or she wouldn't have deliberately filmed a staged kiss scene in front of him today.
Olivia distractedly replied, "Maybe it will."
"What I just said was in anger, you don't need to take it too seriously."
Clearly, she had relented and was no longer as aggressive as before. Yet, Adam felt a heavier, oppressive sensation in his chest. It was like punching into cotton.
The worst part was, he could feel the person in his arms beginning to get distracted again, a state she'd often been in these past days.
