Being all alone in her room was something Lilac was used to. At the side of a small room small enough to fit, only one person was where Lilac found happiness for herself.
"And they lived happily ever after"Lilac murmured closing the fifth book she just finished for the day, dropping it on her little table where books were scattered
" How on earth did they find this so-called love ....I still can't grab it" She said to herself, standing up and stretching her legs for it has been hours since she was sitting and reading her romantic novels
"Lilac!" A voice was heard screaming outside her little room
"What now" Lilac whispered
A pretty young lady banged the poor door wide open
"How many times have I told you to stop seeing Michael" The lady demanded looking angrily at Lilac
"I haven't seen Sir Michael for a week now Grace" Lilac said refusing to be caught in an argument with her step sister for the twentieth time this week
"Oh don't lie to me...my friends saw Michael walking you home today" Grace said looking at her step sister like a mother picking up her child's lie
"Since when have you considered Sam and Rachael your friends?" Lilac stopped arranging her books and turned to Grace looking surprised.... well she wasn't really surprised considering how childish the girl was
"That's not the question here" Grace folded her arms waiting for Lilac answer. she wanted to know right now,she didn't want her step sister to use her pretty face and trap her man.....even if Michael doesn't even know her name yet. she'll take it a step at a time just for his handsome face. She blushed.
Lilac who was staring at her was speechless.
" He didn't walk me home Grace, I've been in my room for the whole day" Lilac stated.
" So you better go back and ask "your friends" what exactly they saw and you should leave before your mum sees you here" She added, going back to cleaning up her room and completely ignoring Grace who was on the verge of screaming in frustration.
Lilac didn't want to starve today too cause of her step mother, it wasn't something she could survive from today.
