Josh was shocked being able to see so much and in such detail was extremely helpful for learning more about how normal interactions work for vampires in the social hierarchy. He learned that each vampire comes from a tribe, the council serves to control all the rouge vampire tribes under the six ancients they were said to be the first vampires.
The six tribes are Verdelei, lamia, Marison, saracen, boy, and nosfarato they and their clans were known to be the oldest and most extensive of the clans ruling over the rest through their children as heads of the counsel. The pure bloods that head the council are all the best children born from their respective tribes with Decon frost being taken in voted in most recently by a few heads to "keep up with the times" most of the current council are hundreds of years old not being able to get a firm foothold on the times.
The council recently adding Decon frost in their ranks was unprecedented that's why he was so unliked in the council. Using his newfound knowledge he left the man's mind leaving a back door right open, he could easily control Mitchel but he definitely needed his contacts he remembered Eric from the blade movies he's working on creating something called the ripper strain.
Being in contact with both Decon frost and Eric is something he never would've expected but he definitely expected to leverage it. While leaving his mind he distorting everything involving him, only remembering getting forced to drink a glass by Decon frost.
A completely fake memory made by Josh in an attempt to hide his involvement he wanted to limit his interference with his memory's since they have faced magicians before not knowing if they have any ways to spot or sense his changed memory's.
Reentering the hive Josh couldn't help but feel nestolgic looking through his mind because it felt like it took forever, It probably had to be because of how long a life the vampire lived. He definitely needed a way to hasten the process for his own sake, looking at all the life in the hive he couldn't help but have an exciting idea he wanted to attempt to make a living ecosystem to protect and grow his soul.
Entering the main room where the flames were being held he looked into where the fires were located, making his way over to the shining golden flame representing his spider powers he submerged himself into the flames wanting fo comprehend the answers to a question he's been wondering.
'How can I make more avatars so far I've gained an avatar every time I was bitten by the enhanced spiders with my mutant ability I was curious would enhancement serums also work afterall in marvel basically everyone has their own supersolder serums it should be relitvely easy to get my hands on some both foreign and domestic.'
Leaving the spider flame he made his way over to where his lizard form was seen he could see himself sleeping in his large mutated monster form. Leaving the hive he reenterd his body finding himself still sleeping on the chair he fell asleep on, deciding he wasted enough time dealing with the vampires memories Josh decided that he had something even more devious planned.
Making his way over to where the vampires were being held he easily gave his first subject the female vampire the new vampire factor made using his blood he was curious how the blood of the recipient mattered during vampirism alongside being able to control her through his blood. 'If the experiment succeeds in using my blood connect her to the hive succeeds I can definitely farm vampire's I use my first vampire as my proxy doing business with Eric and Decon frost. While Eric likely won't take her seriously Decon frost definitely wouldn't especially since she's a native vampire to the area but if she became valuable he would definitely want her meaning so would Eric. '
Deciding that it was a good plan after checking for any notable changes in the vampire lady. making his way to leave grab his laptop to do more research he immediately felt a shiver running down his spine feeling a strange tinge ring in his head he saw himself being ambushed from behind by his vampire captive for some reason he saw her in a large lizard like appearance with well defined curves stabbing through him.
Josh wanted to make sure his vision would never come through he immediately felt for her consciousness immediately forcing control, He strangely felt her resist his control. Forcing her consciousness to submit he made her easily snap the chains holding her back, he was surprised at how easily she could break through the chains she was bound even after gaining the spider powers they were industrial grade.
Controlling her body Josh decided to test her current physical limits. 'If she's going to work in my place I need to know what she can do.' Feeling his newfound control over the newly transformed vampire he was surprisingly able to feel the difference he could feel what she was. 'Surpriseingly I can feel her power I can see the red with flickes of green and gold I can feel that she was aware of her actions she was definitely going to ambush me.'
He was a bit unnerved by the sudden possibile ambush but he decided that going through her mind would definitely be his first priority. Making his way into her mind he decided to look through her most current memory's he wanted to see how she sees him.
Inside the girl's mind
Looking into the girls mind he watched as she wanted to take advantage of him she wanted to lead him to a secluded place before drinking his blood. Brushing up close him she cast a suggestion to come with her she was glad when he tagged along.
Fast forwarding through her memories Josh watched as she conterary to what he originally thought was actually far more aware of her changes practicing her abilities whenever he was out shopping for materials using audio ques like his footsteps to tell when she was safe. The vampire Marrie was sharp she was close to 130 while she wasn't special was easily far more experienced than most dealing with the rouge children of Varcolock for such a long time.
Josh was confused he heard of varcolock, He was the son of an elder god cathon he was well known for making the dark hold. While he didn't know the exact lore he knew they were a wolf god. The children of varcolock are Marvel's equivalent of werewolves they spread by bite but go feral on full moons, Marvels werewolves for the most part have no control of themselves on nights of the full moons hunting vampires and the remaining children of the elder gods, with some never learning that they ever became werewolves.
From what Josh could remember 'I remember hearing that marvels werewolves sucked but I didn't expect for them to be so trash, in this world most werewolves don't live long enough to take advantage of their immortality. While werewolves are forced into a frenzy on the full moons the hunt the the living children of the elder gods like the vampires, harpy's, serpent men .moleoids. ect, leading to their deaths. I didn't know the werewolves here had it so bad they basically die not even knowing how for the most part.'
Josh was a bit uncomfortable about the kill on sight that was on the werewolves but he was definitely curious about what they would look like transformed. Leaving the vampires mind he couldn't help but be excited about everything new he learned, he got more information than would ever be possible for him in either lifetimes.
Being able to gather knowledge so easily was something he could never gain in a thousands of lifetimes he easily altered her memories Josh made Marrie want to rise in strength and status, making her believe that she sought him in order to get out of her current situation.
Time skip
As Marrie awoke she found herself outside a random park. Trying to get herself together she tried to remember where she was only finding a note in her pocket,

You have been given two enhancements the first was a lizard enhancement to your vampirism making you far stronger than before and a spider based enhancement to enhance your reflexes. While I know that you wanted to sell the enhancements you don't have the strength to do so find me when you've grown your numbers.

Marrie was livid she hated being brushed off like she was nothing that was when her memory's flooded back in, she went looking for a rumored doctor in the area who was said to have an experimental enhancement serum. She wanted to find the doctor so that she could suck up to the Decon to possibly become apart of his circle.
While she wasn't expecting to survive the enhancement she hated that she was still seen as weak, disposable it reminded her of when she was still human. She lived back in the 1800s she was married, being wed by her farther a former priest he was killed by a thief being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The only reasons she survived that night was because she was pitied by the thief spareing her life. She hated how weak she was at that moment having her whole life dictated by someone else's whims it reminded her of how she became a vampire.
Marrie became a vampire after being given to her husband's boss at the time she was coerced into giving her body to the vampire at the possible cost of saving her husband. Marrie was fooled into giving her body to a vampire by her very own husband, her husband wanted to use her to climb the ranks but she was turned into a vampire instead living on the move robbing people of their blood using hypnosis.
Being alone as a vampire is extremely dangerous as they are constantly being hunted by the children of Varcolock when they go feral during their transformations during the full moon. The wolf men while feral typically hunt lone prey in vampire's or people they hate in their own lives.
Decideding that being alone wouldn't solve anything marrie decided to start small making a few vampires to help run things. Leaving the park she found herself in she looked for any notable landmarks easily finding her way home.
Arriving home she couldn't help but jump in fright as she heard her roommate call out to her saying "where have you been?, it's been a couple days since you went MIA what's that about. You promised that you wouldn't get involved with anything sketchy while we were sharing the place."
Marrie sighed 'relax I just stayed at a friends house, I wanted to chat with a friend about a good buisness opportunity.'
"Oh, was it a good deal?" She sighed saying 'If only. I only got a part of what I wanted out of the deal but that man took everything else he said he wanted to see what I can do'
Her roommate sounded confused "isn't that a good thing you got what you wanted right?" 'Yes and No, Donna it's not like that it's that complicated or anything you might not be aware of this but the world is pretty big with lots of secrets but I'm not sure how to start chipping away at them'
Donna was confused "oh please, what's so big that even I might not know about it, you might not know this about me but I am former military a long time back. Hell I've even met an alien before." Making her way to the doorframe.
Marrie said 'Oh please I need to make a deal with a bunch of vampires, what would you do to help.' Crossing her arms "if helping out a bit could use a bit of firepower I could pull a few strings." Marrie couldn't help but shigh in distress. 'if so do you think normal people could deal with vampires. It would be an instant slaughter' but that got her thinking *we can change that* she could make her own clan with so many people she could definitely grow her influence.
Marrie quickly got behind donna saying 'while normally this wouldn't be allowed. I want to turn you and your mercenary friends into vampires to help and follow me.' as she was about to bite Donna, Donna surpriseingly dogged her bite she was surprised because donna was suddenly on the roof somehow standing on the roof. 'How did you do that?, are you a mutant. I haven't met one in my near centuries of life, I've met the children of Varcolock and the sorcerers of old but I have never directly run into any, only hearing about them through stories in vampiric gossip circles.'
Donna said "yeah let's go with that. The company I'm currently working for The Life Foundation has been doing some research with an extremely unique specimen it's being developed along with aid from the government. If you're going to look into anything how about looking into something called the SYM-solder program. I heard one of my higher ups mention it in secret, me and my squad have been looking into someone in the area he was said to be incredibly important to the project. All I was able to learn about it was that it was extremely important for the bigwigs in the company so much so that were being sent all over looking for the dude."
Donna continued saying "me and my squad have Been hearing voices in Our heads and we think that it has something to do with the project that's why we've been so adamant in looking into that project. I'm only telling you about this because I owe you for patching me up after my fight with venom my target."
Marrie couldn't help but feel an uncomfortable shiver in her body it was like her body was telling her to immediately run away hearing the name to go as far as she could and she wanted to know why. Asking 'then why were you injured if you were sent to find your target and found him? You were actually able to dodge a blow from an enhanced vampire something even most vampires shouldn't be able to do so how did you lose?"
Donna sighed saying "the whole SYM-soldier project seems to find him a valuable asset we were sent to invite him to join the life foundation but he declined forcing us to escape. We got back in contact but recently we've all been getting a strange feeling like danger is coming from all directions leading to our decision to temporarily cut contact until we find something of note or concern."
