"H-He left?" Jinny asked.
Two hours earlier, when she finally woke up, the first person she saw was Matias, holding her hand.
As soon as he realized she was awake, he quickly called for the doctor and his parents.
Kaye and the rest of the family rushed to the hospital after hearing the news. Once they were assured that Jinny was finally out of danger and doing well, the others returned to work.
Only Kaye and Matias stayed behind to accompany her.
"Yes. He said he made you suffer a lot. He wanted to become more mature and learn more about life, so he asked his father to send him to Spain to manage the business there," Kaye explained as she arranged the flowers in a vase.
Jinny lowered her head. She couldn't help but feel guilty that Ran had left because of her.
"Don't feel bad. It was Ran's decision. He said he'll visit us whenever he has free time," Kaye added reassuringly.
Matias peeled a fresh apple and cut it into small pieces.
"He already apologized for what he did," he said before picking up a piece with a fork and feeding it to Jinny.
Jinny ate it slowly.
"I understand..." she said quietly.
Matias smiled, gently caressed her cheek, and kissed her forehead.
A few days later, Jinny was finally discharged from the hospital.
Her family warmly welcomed her home.
Three days after that, Jinny and Matias finally got married.
Everyone was filled with happiness as they clapped and cheered for the newlyweds. When Jinny and Matias kissed, their families celebrated with joy and pride.
Two months later...
Jinny was staring at a photograph from her wedding day.
A smile appeared on her face as she remembered that special moment.
Matias was currently at work with his siblings and their father.
After staring at the photograph for another minute, Jinny decided to leave their room and visit the garden.
She was picking a few roses for her mother's room when she heard the sound of a car engine approaching.
She paid no attention to it and continued what she was doing, assuming that it was just one of her brothers arriving home.
Then, she heard footsteps approaching.
Jinny turned around.
Her eyes widened when she saw Ran standing behind her.
He smiled. "Long time no see..."
Jinny immediately averted her gaze, still feeling guilty about everything that had happened.
"Don't you miss your big brother?" Ran teased.
She slowly looked into his eyes. "B-Big brother?"
Ran smiled again.
"I'm your big brother, right?" then he pouted like a child. "I'm hurt that you're only close to my brothers and not me. I'm jealous."
Jinny stared at him as if she were looking at a stranger.
Is this really Ran?
What had happened to him during those two months?
"If you're still thinking about the past, don't worry about it. It was all my fault," Ran said gently.
"R-Ran..." Jinny whispered.
Ran suddenly spread his arms. "Aren't you going to hug your brother who just returned?"
Jinny smiled.
She ran toward him and wrapped her arms around him.
"Welcome back... Big brother..."
Ran smiled and nodded.

The whole family was overjoyed when Ran finally returned.
With everything seemingly back to normal, they took another family photograph and placed it on the wall of the living room.
For the first time in a long while, everything seemed to be at peace.
But that peace didn't last long.
One day, a man in his sixties suddenly appeared in front of the Fuentebella family.
Beside him stood a young woman.
The moment everyone saw her face, they froze.
She looked exactly like Jinny.
The elderly man bowed respectfully in front of Mikhail.
"Mr. Fuentebella..." he said. "I want you to meet your long-lost daughter... Jinny."
Everyone stared at the young woman in disbelief.
"She survived the accident."
Silence filled the room.
No one could move.
No one could speak.
Their eyes remained fixed on the woman standing before them.
Jinny was already dead.
They had mourned her.
They had watched her funeral.
They had finally accepted that she was gone.
Yet now...
She was standing right in front of them.
Alive.
How could this be possible?
Is she really the real Jinny?
And if she really was the real Jinny...
Then who was the girl died from the accident long time ago?
