Thomas Shannon's eyes narrowed dangerously. Why doesn't he trust her so much? He always feels that deep within her seemingly well-behaved eyes, she's plotting how to torment him.

Sophie Sullivan reluctantly said, "Sure."
"You said it. Don't regret it," Thomas Shannon said, placing his palm on the edge of the fountain pool and easily leaping up.
Sophie Sullivan unconsciously took two steps back. Amid the splashing sound of the fountain, she couldn't hear his words clearly.
Tiny water droplets clung to her, and she actually felt a bit cold.
She shivered, and Thomas Shannon frowned. "You jump down first."
