"Cheryl, this is Sophie, my girlfriend. Sophie, this is Cheryl, my younger sister."
Sophie nodded with a smile, "Hello."
Cheryl took a step back, "You...hello."
Sophie glanced at Thomas Shannon, just as he said, timid.
"Didn't you say you were hungry? Let's go downstairs for dinner." Thomas Shannon extended his hand, and Sophie naturally placed hers in his palm.
Cheryl watched this scene, her heart aching dully. She bit her lower lip, following the two closely as they went downstairs.
Knowing she shouldn't follow, her legs wouldn't listen to her, so she followed closely, watching the two of them together, even their silhouettes were so fitting. She could no longer deceive herself...
This dinner was a torment for Cheryl.
After dinner, she quickly fled back to her bedroom, and Sophie watched her leaving figure, lost in thought.
"What are you thinking about?" Thomas Shannon turned her head and pinched her soft cheek.
"Thinking about your sister."
