Sophie Sullivan's hand stopped where she was rubbing her forehead. What had she just heard?
Her suspicious gaze slid to the man beside her. Thomas Shannon was holding back a smile as he lowered his voice. "My father and mother are both here. Let's go say hi, hmm?"
Sophie Sullivan turned around and walked off.
What "go say hi"? He'd clearly come prepared and tricked her into coming back!
Seeing her get in the car, Thomas Shannon followed immediately. He stretched out his hand, wanting to touch her soft cheek, but she slapped him away in disgust. "Don't touch me, you liar!"
