That night when he left, Sophie sensed something amiss.
At that time, she didn't think much of it, but these days his abnormal behavior has aroused her suspicion even more.
"Derek, find a way to pose as a buyer and trade with K Group. Make sure Thomas Shannon shows up." Sophie rubbed her chin; only by seeing Thomas Shannon in person could she judge if something had happened to him.
Derek hesitated slightly, not daring to tell her that His Highness Lucifer used the name Lawrence before to pose as a buyer to meet Thomas Shannon...
"Yes, Miss Cecilia Branford." After a few seconds of hesitation, Derek agreed.
After hanging up the phone, Sophie felt uneasy and paced back and forth, worrying the servants. "Miss Cecilia Branford, the doctor said you shouldn't now..."
Raising her hand, she interrupted the servant, "I have my own discretion."
After sitting down, Sophie leaned back on the sofa and called Thomas Shannon.
The phone went unanswered for a long time.
