Once the dark red glow dimmed, the coffin lid was thrown over the side. A daunting, herculean, female figure leaped out of the stone casket.
Each white eye contained only a black circle. Her undead stare poked through the firelight of the chamber. A fiendish grin was bannered across her pale, grey-blue face, showing her ravenous, thinly-pointed teeth. Crooked creeks of red, white, and black flowed through her ruffled, half-undone braid of sickly grey hair. Onyx and ruby beads were pierced through the upper tips of her ears, which someone had seemingly pinched and curled backward like a mustache.
It was the fiend's face that pulled in Sabina's attention. But it was her armor that Rizz first took note of.
