The selection of battle opponents was swift and decisive. While the other core members of Raze's defense team sped off to their assignments, Dame took his time. He waited, letting Liam and Beatrix head in their respective directions to engage their assigned targets. He would personally deal with the last of the Masked Cerebus Guild members he could see.
He wasn't concerned with which one he fought; to him, the enemy looked identical, and they all seemed to possess an equal, terrifying level of strength.
He spotted his designated target in the distance: a figure who wasn't landing or heading toward a strategic point. Instead, the Masked Man was hovering ominously over a residential section of the Underside. Beams of raw, destructive energy were shooting from his hands, casually tearing through the fragile housing and brutally silencing the few hidden local warriors who had tried to ambush him from the rooftops.
