Without a doubt, Raze knew that he was looking at the real Safa. It wasn't some illusionary spell that had been placed for him to think he was seeing her. It was actually her.
"You actually came," Safa said as she wiped the tears away with her sleeves. "There was a part of me that thought you might have not come, and I was fine with that… or at least I thought I was fine with that," she said as she continued to sniffle, interrupting nearly every word.
Her voice trembled, and even though she tried to steady herself, the emotions she had been holding back for so long were clearly coming through.
As Raze stood up, he went ahead and embraced her in a hug. He didn't accept a hug from her, this time, it was him hugging her.
"Thank you for everything you've done. You really looked after me when I was stuck in this new world, so I couldn't leave you here, not when I didn't know what could be happening to you. So give me the chance to now look after you."
