Only someone who inherited David's Sloth could be lazy to an extent that would exasperate even Dragons.
However, if one were to look at it from another angle, wasn't it a case of each generation surpassing the previous one?
After all, for Dragons, any personality trait taken to an extreme is a manifestation of a talent and ability. This was evident, at least from Satilaesa's three sisters who were born first. Especially Satilaesa's near-wish-fulfillment Pride; a 'grow up overnight' kind of miracle that was enough to shock and evoke envy, jealousy, and hatred among the other Dragons.
If every Dragon possessed such a heaven-defying ability to skip over their frail hatchling phase... Attilicia smacked his lips, only able to daydream about it.
