Abigail Hemsworth glanced at the time on her phone and didn't play dumb. She leaned back in her chair with her legs crossed and smiled:
"Director, although our Claire's last name is Perkins, she is no less capable than other hardworking, dedicated actresses. A young lady practiced fight scenes all afternoon, so waiting another two hours is certainly doable, but she won't be in the best condition. Hence, I suggest letting me take her back for a good rest first..."
The director sighed in relief, knowing Abigail would say this.
"You're right, Claire has indeed had a tough day."
Abigail stood up, her light pink long dress emphasizing her fair skin and beauty. Basic facial care and a little lip balm made her no less impressive than all the other actresses with exquisite makeup on set.
"Oh, Miss Lula's makeup requires at least two hours. Since everyone would be idle, why don't we all go have a drink? Claire said she's treating."
