Ethan Herd rolled his eyes, "Puppy love? I can't believe you thought of that. Why would I do such a boring thing?"
"But you're clearly not ordinary towards that young lady."
"That's because..." Ethan wanted to explain. He felt different towards her compared to others because that little girl was so clueless. The first time he met her, she almost got abducted, and the second time as well. He just felt pity for her and saved her on a whim. However, he thought better of explaining to his mum, she would only imagine more.
A little girl only 8 years old, would he have puppy love with her? That's nonsense, and yet his mum's brain managed to come up with that.
His mother was quite like that little girl, both so clueless.
Emilia Johnny kept asking, "Because of what?"
Ethan replied lazily, "Because... I see she's as clueless as you."
"You... Brat, who are you talking about?"

The mother and son bickered all the way out of the crowd.
