Sterling Norwood, through the bedcovers, planted a gentle kiss on Selena Kensington's stomach.
"Get some sleep."
He whispered softly before stepping out of the bedroom.
Selena lay in bed, contemplating Sterling's gesture just moments ago.
The corners of her mouth couldn't help but turn upward into a smile.
She placed both hands on her belly, "Your dad loves you both very much..."
She murmured.
Initially, Selena was worried that Sterling might not accept these two unexpected children.
But she soon realized she was worrying for nothing.
Sterling just wasn't good at expressing himself, and considering the potential harm the babies might cause Selena, he hadn't clearly expressed his feelings.
But actually, deep down, he was anticipating the arrival of the newborns.
Thinking this, Selena slowly slipped into a dream.
When she awoke within her dream, she found herself back in that dark space once more.
