Selena Kensington took a deep breath and asked.
Samuel Dalton's gaze slightly shifted, seemingly unwilling to say more, "It's nothing, just some complicated matters..."
Having said this, he noticed that Selena Kensington's gaze was still fixed on him.
Instantly, he didn't continue speaking.
Selena's gaze was calm, seemingly not intimidating, yet it was what Samuel Dalton found most unbearable.
So under such a gaze from Selena Kensington, Samuel Dalton didn't last more than a few seconds before conceding.
He obediently said, "There's news from the outer realms as well about the End of the World Carnival, causing unrest. Sterling Norwood and I have formed a collaboration to share information about the End of the World Carnival, so I'm planning to return to the Isle of Cyrin, to keep watch outside The Southern Domain and better receive the movements from the outer realms."
Hearing Samuel Dalton's words, Selena Kensington furrowed her brows.
