Walking out of the room all thirty students were amazed by the grandeur of the place they all stared around at the different buildings all around them even the one they just came out from was in the shape of a dome with a smooth surface. All around them were buildings of different shapes and sizes with magnificent style.
Looking around Kieran could see more of those dome like structures some were large while others were small the dome like structures weren't the only buildings there as they were some tall apartment styled buildings.
Following the female sergeant they headed towards another dome shaped structure. Upon entering it Kieran was impressed by the size of the place. They had walked into a waiting area with a door at the other end of the room. The waiting room was already very large with enough chairs to sit a hundred people. Leading them inside the lady turned to face them
" Sit and wait you will be called in accordance to your number. " she said " The first five students come with me "
After saying that she headed for the door and left the room along with the five students leaving the rest to sit and wait for their turn.
Kieran sat down on one of the waiting chairs looking around the hall, he was still dazed from when he woke up and was trying to register all what he was going through he couldn't believe that he was in a hunter academy and was going to become a student soon.
Looking round Kieran could see that some students were talking amongst themselves while others were quiet and sitting alone. He was among those who sat alone as he could not recognize any one of these people and even if he did recognize them he wasn't friends with any of them more like a lowly bum in their eyes who didn't belong cause of his lack of abilities.
Sitting alone Kieran continued to wait patiently as the number of people in the hall continued to reduce.
" 141 to 145 come with me " the female sergeant said after entering the room before turning around and heading back.
Hearing this and knowing his number to be one hundred and forty two Kieran stood up along with four others and followed behind her.
They were lead into another room that was full of different equipments and monitoring devices. Compared to the waiting room this place was packed with all sort of equipments.
" Alright I would be testing your physical attributes to see whether you would be able to cope in the academy and also to find out what level you will be placed " she said walking up to a thick black pole that stuck out from the ground its surface was smooth and shiny giving off the feel it was made from an exquisite material.
" We would start with a strength test you need at least a score of six to pass the test " she stated
" 141 hit the pole as hard as you can " she said walking to the side to observe with her pad in hand.
A boy with long black hair and a slim figure walked towards the pole he was the tallest person amongst their group. Standing in front of the pole he squeezed his fist and drew back his hands sending it flying forward at an incredible speed hitting the pole hard a ripple spread across its surface like a stone had been thrown into a lake, the pole rippled for a while then from within a white light spread on it displaying a number on its surface.
" 15, a solid hit indeed "she said as she recorded his score.
" 142 hit the pole "
Walking up to the pole Kieran made fist and threw it at the pole it was a sloppy punch as he wasn't the type to throw punches he was usually the one receiving punches. The pole rippled and the white light showed displaying the number eight.
" eight, next person "she said as she injured Kieran's score
'Eight I got a score of eight but my Strength is way higher than that, I have a total of twenty five in Strength stats does that meani am not that strong is the system lying to me and this stat is fake or maybe I just didn't use all my Strength or the machine can't measure it accurately or maybe it's the system that can't measure accurately '
" On to the next test which would be measuring speed " she said as she walked towards a set of treadmills by the side of the room
"This test is different you would all be taking it at the same time, you start the treadmill and it would continue to increase its speed until you reach your maximum speed that you can handle. You need minimum of 30m/s to pass this test now begin"
She said standing to the side and watching them as they climbed the treadmill and started to run.
It was as she said the treadmill continued to increase its speed the more they ran it didn't take long for it to hit the 30m/s limit that was set and pass it. The group continued to run as the treadmill increased its speed every second.
At 40m/s two others had given up as they had passed already the other three were Kieran and numbers 141 and 145. Number 145 was a girl with long brown hair she was the same height as Kieran and had gotten a score of 10 in the strength test.
The trio kept running until the 60m/s mark were number 141 quit as he was starting to slow down. Now it was just Kieran and number 145 and they kept going at it.
At the 80m/s mark number 145 started to slow and before the 90m/s she had gotten exhausted.
" Alright then move on to the next room and wait there we would go on a tour of the school soon and you would be assigned your uniforms and identification cards "
