Chen Ailin is the magician of the North American Team.
Considered half a brain of the team — the other half being the captain Villand.
When the prompt from the Main God sounded in her ears, she had already begun to look around, surveying the place where they had landed. As far as the eye could see, it was an oval-shaped conference room, with a hard bone-like floor beneath her feet, and an equally oval conference table in front of her. The soft, warm, pale walls around felt like they were made of some creature's skin. There were a few round windows on the walls, but perhaps because the task hadn't started yet, everything outside was pitch black, nothing visible.
Such initial arrangements in most task worlds are considered friendly, so Chen Ailin's emotions didn't waver at all.
Not until she counted the number of newcomers, a full ten, did her eye twitch fiercely.
