Chapter 76 - See you my friend

I got out and opened the door for them. I grabbed the bags out of my car. Doninic picked her gently up into his arms. He softly hissed in pain, but carried her into the black car that Aurelia had come in yesterday. He gently placed her in the back of the car and came back to me. ´Thank you, dude, I owe you a big time. I will never forget your good deed.´ He said before hugging me. I chuckled softly and hugged him back.

´You are welcome, Dominic, don´t worry about it. I just did what I wished someone would do the same to me one day´ I told him before letting him go. He took the bags and thanked me again before getting into the back of the car with Aurelia. I saw him wave while the car drove off. I waved back, hoping to see them again someday.

Dominic POV

Today was perfect, calm, and balanced. We saw a beautiful city and got some things for ourselves and our baby. I still can´t believe it...I´m going to be a father... I placed my hand on her belly softly and smiled. I will miss Kai, and I hope that he can visit us someday. The drive was quiet and long; Aurelia didn´t wake up for the whole ride to the airport. The second the car stopped, the door opened for us, and I gently carried her out of the car and into the private plane. Our man welcomed us back.

I gently placed her on the bed in the back of the plane, and the doctor checked on me. I hissed when the doctor touched my probably broken ribs. I got wrapped in fresh bandages and got restitched. Some stitches opened up, and I didn't even realize it had happened. Soon the plane took off, finally...I will be home. I lay down beside Aurelia and held onto her tightly. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. I don´t know how long I was sleeping, but I was woken up by someone shaking me. I groaned and sat slowly up before yawning and looking around. I saw that it was Aurelia who woke me up. I smiled and pulled her into a sweet kiss. She giggled before kissing me back. We pulled away after a minute or so. I got up and helped her get off the bed.

´I'm not made of glass, Dominic.´ She told me with a playful eye roll. We made our way out of the plane and into a waiting car. Once we got in the car, the driver drove us back to the house. I saw that Aurelia fell asleep once again. I smiled softly, and I kissed her forehead. I watched as the houses, trees, and cities flew by. I started to imagine a new life with Aurelia and our child. I´m scared... I never had a good childhood, and that I might be like my father terrifies me. I don´t want that to happen. I want to give our child everything I didn´t have growing up. Before I knew it, we were back at our house, the driver stopped the car, and I got out. I picked her gently up in my arms.

She whined lightly before grabbing my shirt and hiding her face against my chest. It almost hurt a little because of how tight her grip was. I carefully entered the house. Dixon jumped up when he saw us. He wanted to greet us, but stopped himself silently, and he understood what I meant and sat down on the couch. After walking into our bedroom, opening the door with my elbow, I gently placed her on our bed and tucked her in.
