"It seems that this time, I cannot rely on the Sect to shoulder the burden for me."
After a brief contemplation, Ling Chen's eyes suddenly brightened, as if he had figured something out, and he immediately bowed slightly to Saint Purple Heart, saying, "Please expel me from Lingyue Island, Island Master. I do not wish to implicate the Sect due to this matter."
This statement from Ling Chen quickly sparked a great commotion in the Conference Hall.
"Ling Chen, don't talk nonsense."
Shen Bingxin's expression changed as well.
"I am not talking nonsense,"
Ling Chen shook his head, his expression very serious, "The Great Mysterious Heavenly Dao only wants to kill me alone. If I have no connection with Lingyue Island, naturally, the Great Mysterious Heavenly Dao will do nothing to Lingyue Island. Besides, it was Jueying Zhenren who I killed. A person should take responsibility for their actions, and let me bear all the consequences myself."
