Relative peace and silence returned to the realm after the commotion caused by Patricia's breakthrough.
As expected, complaints urging the human council to investigate were sent; they're all the messages the council received for about a month before they started letting up.
The Human Sovereigns told the public that they were already investigating the source of those fluctuations even before their messages came through. They expressed their regrets for not accurately locating its source even after all this time and said that they will continue to investigate and report their findings as soon as they have them.
Of course, that was a blatant lie told with the most solemn and serious face by the Human Sovereigns.
Not everybody believed their excuses; some already guessed that the council was deliberately suppressing whatever that was, and some speculated that it might be a very valuable treasure that they wanted to keep for themselves.
