In the great cosmos lay a planet… a forgotten world…A planet named Tyran! But like any world, it's only remembered for its fall… not for its beauty it may have had… but only for the horror that took it! That consumed it… only one recorded message survived from the undomesticated world….

"We cannot live through this. Mankind cannot live through this. In a single day, they have covered this planet with a flood of living blades and needle-fanged mouths. Kill one, and ten take its place. If they are truly without number, then our race is doomed to a violent death before every shred of our civilization is scoured away by a force more voracious than the fires of hell themselves. Death! By the Machine God, Death is here!"

"Winning is survival, Loken. You die, you lose, and nothing you ever believed ever meant anything."
→Excerpt by Ben Counter←
By slow strides, the rain repealed itself off his armour…while the painted skull on his helm scanned what lay before him, and while watching his men kill the vile beast that stood in his way… he walked!
With each stride of his foot, it clanked in motion as he stepped on the dead! As it crushed their bones, swept up their blood! His men, firing their guns left and right, while others used their mace or swords to smash those who got too close to their captain!
Not turning his head away from the door, as he walked in a straight line, like the events happening around him were as mundane as a stroll through a humble park, Paracelius held his bone shield in one arm, while its chains rattled with rage, while his mace oozed with the blood of the beast lives it had taken from another time… and while his hand reached for the door…
[Captain Paracelius… or better known as….the giver of bones…The Blood Angels really sent someone of his rank to simply come to our aid? No… that's illogical… and yet here he is… the probability be dammed!] thought 43-sea to herself as she glazed over the man's data on her sheet while the servitors scanned him at the door.
And while the sevy skull at the door kept denying his entrance, his men continued the fight! As the gnats grew closer, and the gun grew to become a heavy handicap, the chosen blades stepped up for their roll! With a two-handed sword larger than any man, the chosen blades proved their worth!
Endowed in grey robes, with a hood that hides their skull helmets, the four stepped up to cover each side of their captain! And tho the rain drenched them, soaked them, the four moved without any hindrance, without a lack of motion, their blades came down in a beautiful arch as they chopped the gnats in half! Tearing them in two, and while the badly beaten bugs filled with battle holes, missing limbs, and oozing blood from their mouth, the gnats proved their tenacity!
Death didn't scare them, the rain didn't bother them, their injuries were, but an annoyance, for the only thing on their minds was to kill! And kill they tired! But the wall of metal that stood before them was anything but weak! Their screams and roars blended with the rain and the thunder, while their masked prey stood emotionless as they slaughtered the last of the tyranids! But for the last one…
A bug with no name, with eyes that hide its hunger, perhaps? Its rage? Paracelius didn't know or care; he just looked at the miserable creature with all the disdain of the emperor, and so… in one fluid motion, he ended the life of the creature as it tried to crawl at his feet!
And with its death, the door that was so stubborn to open. Suddenly, welcomed the angels in… looking at the servitor, who shone in the emperor's light, Paracelius smiled beneath his helmet as he gave thanks to lord Sanguinius in his heart.
Meanwhile….
Deep in a dream, Layla slowly awoke to a planet in her hands… a green ball as a 3d image… There, in a space of complete emptiness, she stared at the orb in her hands, unknowing what it was, but feeling a strange connection to it, as if she could feel the pulsing of a heartbeat!
{Just what is going on? Where am I? What is even HAPPENING!}screamed Layla in the inner consciousness of her mind.
As if to answer her, a strange voice rippled through the void and whispered in a deep but loving voice of a man…
[connect your heart…]
{Wait! Who are you? You don't sound like the emperor? replied Layla, who thought the voice sounded angelic, but couldn't place where she had heard that voice before…
[connect your heart…]
{huh? What do you mean by "connect my heart"? With what? This orb thing? How does that even make sense!} replied Layla in frustration, as she stared be witchingly at the orb…
But no reply was heard in Layla's ears, as the voice refused to repeat it for a third time, "his" message, so Layla could only figure it out on her own, but as time zipped by… while staring at an orb that reminded her of the world she saw back up in space, she thought to call apon Miss A for assistance only to be met with emptiness… nothing… she then thought about calling to the emperor but just like before… nothing…. Just empty pleas in a world of her "own" making, but without the understanding thereof!
Confused and lost, with frustration hitting its highest after several hours, Layal screams!
{AH! Am I going to be trapped in here forever? Until I figure this out? JUST WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO! Connect my heart! Connect it how? Ugh! Where's Mary when you need her!}
{sigh… I need you…Mary…}
Then, as if her inner world answered her, the emptiness around turned from white nothingness to a bloody bed, there she saw Mary, tho through the lens of a deep tint of red and green, and through that tint she saw Mary overlooking her sleeping figure that lay next to dim candle light, there and in all silence, she saw mary praying to the emperor his rosaries…
{oh… Mary… am fine… You don't have to worry…} is what Layla thought, as she felt like she was actually there in the room…but as she thought to move, to place her arms around Mary….she noticed she couldn't… she couldn't even raise a finger let alone an arm… nor could she speak in the natural sense… it was a very odd feeling, the only thing she could control were the range in which her eyes could zoom in and out… then it wasn't until mary left the room for a reason, that Layla notice the true question…
{wait, why am I seeing myself lying down and Mary like from a third-person perspective?}
With that thought, her vision closed like an old television! But during its closure, just before the void became white again, Layla yelled:
{wait! Mary!}
But back to floating in that nothingness, Layla smiled as she said:
{Well… at least she's safe, but where was Molly? I didn't see…}
With the mention of Molly, and before she could finish her thoughts, the world suddenly regained color again, but this time it was a strange feeling; to Layla, it felt like she was lying on the floor, and her vision this time was static and blurry. But how could she not recognize Molly's figure? Even the blur and static couldn't hide everything, not her armour…. Not her clothing… and certainly not her attitude!
However, unable to speak again, all Layla could do was watch Molly fight for her life! shotgun fire after fire… roaring and screaming… with blue flames covering the walls! As a stranger stood beside Molly, tho one in which Layla couldn't exactly make out, his psyker energy, though, was something she couldn't mistake…
And while his flames blew past her vision, she could hear them…she could feel the ground beneath her shake…. Then she heard it… the subtle buzzing! Then the sickly roars! Then, as if she could feel the pressure of their wings blowing past her, causing her to suddenly get an air view, she saw, through zooming in and out, all in a crystal clear sight… the fleeting back of Molly as Molly gave her a slight head turn! Then the vision ended, only to reappear a short moment later, but from a different perspective, a different angle…
But what felt like wires trapped in her skull, while encompassed in a metal cage, Layla could see Molly again, but this time, the stranger stood in front of her… and with his force staff in motion in front of him, glowing in light, the man opened his glowing eyes with sparks of thunder! But with all the pureness of the emperor! He said in a serious tone…
[Smite!]
With the word came an outburst of pure holiness! And like a rushing wind! It knocks the servants of Nurgel back! Blinding and beautiful, the servants who fell, then felt the smite true curse… for the knock back was simply its force… not its pain… the pain that came to them was beyond words… tho they believed themselves unable to feel such things… this… this proved them wrong! Tho the blue flame, as before, made them "feel" like they were burning, they never actually felt it in the true sense…
But this flame was different… this flame made them feel their flesh melting… Burning… itching… PAIN! Unimaginable! Nothing remained of those caught up in it but a gooey mess… though their screams were unmistakable!
[so... Even the gnats of chaos can feel pain…huh… interesting…] thought Akios to himself, as he stood in a scorched crater!
But then, the pain set in… causing him to wince his head! Though Molly noticed it, she didn't ask… As she had been with Layla long enough to know the signs of overdrawing…
[pskyer May be blessed by the emperor for power… but is a power that comes with a cost…] thought Molly to herself as she said to Akios:
[We need to leave!]
Though he heard the words, Akios ignored them… as he snorted out the blood that dripped from his nose, and while it splattered on the cold metal floor, he heard the jiggle of a BELL!
And with it… the sounds of something being dragged… then, as the light continued to fade, a face breached the dark for the briefest of moments…a face with a pair of three red eyes with antler-like horns of many branches! Blanketed in a purple cloth! Though torn in many places…
Then, with a big old familiar smile that drove Akios' nerves… It laughed! As it said… with a slight pause in the middle as the uncleaned one turned its head to look at something off in the darkness…
[ha! Yes run! But you can't escape entropy! Little servants of that anathema! Especially you!]
Feeling the sudden eyes of the uncleaned one, Layla felt as if her head was being forcibly squeezed. Then, as the pain kicked in, she felt a subtle wetness dripping from between but just below her eyes… and while that bloody substance flowed and the pressure increased. As if two hands had a hold on her head, she could feel everything! And while lost in screaming from every inch of crushed bone… a pop was heard!
Then just as quickly as it happened, she found herself back in the white emptiness of her mind, right back holding that orb of the world! But this time shaken, she threw up in her own mind! Fear of what she just experienced, but with it came some understanding…
{I see… I think I get it now…. this orb… It… it lets me…}
