His situation is too complex, having been severely wounded by an indescribable terror, now dormant in the Holy Fire, merging with it, and his soul body is showing signs of transference... Even my abilities have limits, and he's teetering on the brink of complete disappearance. Bringing him back is nearly impossible."
Rhein said in a deep voice, "As long as there is a sliver of a chance, we will not give up."
Master Carse nodded, looking somewhat troubled at the injured around him: "To heal such a unique individual, I'll need to return to the Royal City to make extensive preparations. But there are many severely wounded people here; leaving immediately might not be good for them. You know, my students are just incompetent, um, good-for-nothings..."
