In the dream realm, around the burning obelisk, there were many tiny black dots gathering towards the monument. They were shapeless, intangible, and untouchable, like some kind of illusion.
Rod was startled at first, thinking he was affected by some kind of pollution, but quickly realized these black dots were entering his soul, flying towards the "constellation" and gathering within the "Dark Devourer."
Yet, the star that served as the center of the "constellation," carrying the divine fire, continued burning without any signs of being polluted.
"Book, what's happening here?"
Prompted by Rod's reminder, the Book of Knowledge also noticed this phenomenon and almost immediately jumped up.
"Master, Master, the Dark Devourer is gathering its ashes. As the divine fire and dream realm grow stronger, its ashes are also gathering on their own!"
Rod exclaimed in surprise, "Is such a thing possible?"
