Chapter 7 - Still Climbing.

Passing my Grade 3 Theory examination gave me a new level of confidence, but my musical journey was far from over. Every new stage brought new challenges, and I realized that learning music is a continuous process.

I am currently preparing for my Grade 5 Practical Piano examination. It has not been easy. Every lesson introduces something new, and there are days when I spend hours practicing the same passages until they sound right. Sometimes I feel tired and discouraged, but I remind myself that progress comes through patience, discipline, and consistency.

At MUSON, I continue to learn from my teachers, who encourage me to become a better musician. Their corrections are not always easy to accept, but they have helped me improve both my technique and my understanding of music. Every lesson reminds me that there is always something new to learn.

When I look back at where I started, I can see how much I have grown. From learning the basics with John Thompson Grade 1 to preparing for my Grade 5 Practical Piano examination, every step has shaped me into the musician I am becoming.

My dream has never been just to pass examinations. I want to become a pianist who inspires others through music, encourages people not to give up on their dreams, and uses music to glorify God.

As I continue preparing for my Grade 5 Practical Piano examination, I know there will be more challenges ahead. But I also know that every hour of practice brings me one step closer to my dream. My journey is still being written, and I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you.

One lesson I have learned is this: Great musicians are not made overnight. They are built through patience, discipline, faith, and the courage to keep going—one note at a time.
