Chapter 808 - 808 My Hero Academia: The Overprotective Dragon Mother, The Most Magnificent Hero Name of All, Offers from Hero Agencies, and In the Spotlight: The Top Ten Heroes

Allen wasn't surprised to find someone in his bed.

This was Kaina's apartment, and although she usually didn't sleep in his bed, when she was drinking, things were different. For some reason she always ended up in his room—either clinging to him, on top of him, or even sleeping on the floor of his room.

Allen eventually got used to that. But that wasn't all—on more than one occasion Nemuri had come to sleep with Allen as well. Obviously not with Kaina's permission, so when she was discovered it always ended in a fight between the two women that Allen had to stop if he wanted to sleep.

It was embarrassing that two adult women acted like children over something so trivial, but deep down, Allen enjoyed these moments that made the world and this life feel real.

The only good thing was that no one else knew. Otherwise, both of their reputations would fall apart.

"..." Allen looked at the woman beside him.

However, to his surprise, it wasn't Kaina or Nemuri—nor even Mirko.

It was Ryuko.

The blonde beauty was hugging him protectively against her chest. Since yesterday, Allen had felt a strange maternal warmth from Ryuko, which was rather amusing considering she was only ten years older than him.

"Mn~"

"Good morning," Allen said to the woman who was slowly opening her eyes.

She smiled gently.

"Good morning."

Allen observed Ryuko. Among his guardians, she was the most normal one, and also the one who gave him that warm, familiar feeling that only a mother could give.

"Allen, don't worry. I'll protect you from all those bitches." Ryuko's eyes became intense as she stared at Allen with a dangerous overprotectiveness. "I won't let anyone hurt you. Just leave everything to me ❤️~"

"Thanks..." Allen decided he already had enough worries with his current guardians, so he would deal with Ryuko later.

....

Allen arrived at the classroom a couple of minutes late.

"You really aren't afraid of death," Momo said with a sigh.

"Well, so far I haven't had any problems."

"Good morning, Allen-kun," Ochako said.

Allen smiled in her direction and greeted her.

He also greeted the rest of the class, although Bakugo just grumbled and turned in another direction.

Allen used to arrive late to class, but not because he wasn't punctual—it was because he knew Aizawa was even worse than him and usually arrived about ten minutes late.

Once in his seat, Allen talked with some classmates until the lazy Aizawa finally arrived.

....

"Everyone, sit down..." Aizawa said while yawning.

"I'm glad to see Aizawa-sensei is always full of vitality. It's a great inspiration."

"Shut up, Walker."

Aizawa knew that scolding Allen was like stepping on a mine. No matter how much he tried to reprimand him, the bastard would always find a way out of it—or it would simply be too exhausting to deal with him.

"Before anything else, I need to show you something. As you know, the Sports Festival was an opportunity for professional heroes to get to know you. But this isn't just about fame. If any of them are willing, they'll offer you positions in their agencies for field internships. It's a chance for you to gain real hero experience under the supervision of professional heroes."

A holographic screen appeared behind Aizawa.

On it was a list showing all the offers professional heroes had made to each student.

"If I'm being honest, I expected Walker to monopolize all the offers, but this was the result," Aizawa said while looking at Allen, who didn't look surprised even after seeing the screen.

Every student in Class 1-A had received offers.

This was unheard of. In previous years only a few students received offers, but this time there wasn't a single student without one.

Of course, some had more than others.

From just a few like Sero and Ojiro, to Todoroki who had achieved the absurd number of more than two thousand offers.

Below him, Deku had 520, Momo 435, Bakugo 401, Iida 200, Ibara 189, Itsuka 156... and so on.

"Wait!" Momo stood up.

"What does this mean?!" Deku exclaimed.

Bakugo couldn't help but laugh.

"Take that, bastard!"

"Allen-kun?!" Iida cleaned his glasses in disbelief.

"This can't be real," Jiro gasped.

"Allen-chan?" Tsuyu opened her mouth in shock.

The surprise wasn't because Allen had more offers than Todoroki.

On the contrary.

He had only received 19.

Just nineteen.

We're talking about Allen Walker—the undisputed champion, the strongest of the generation, the young man who had even faced the devil.

How could it be that only nineteen professional heroes had given him an offer?!

....

Akeno – "Ufufu, Allen behaved so badly that nobody wants him~"

Gwen – "You deserve it. I still don't understand why you used such a dangerous template." Sigh

....

"Why are you all so surprised?" Allen said with a mocking smile. "If you were them, would you want me in your agency?"

Allen's words froze everyone.

Allen wasn't just the strongest—he also had the worst reputation.

An unpredictable guy. Impossible to control. Problematic. Intimidating.

Aizawa agreed.

"You don't need to think too hard about it. Most people wouldn't even dare deal with him..." Aizawa looked at Allen's name. "If I had to guess, those nineteen offers probably come from the best hero agencies—and of course the top heroes. Only people like that would dare try to handle a walking hydrogen bomb like him."

Allen chuckled.

"Aizawa-sensei, there's no need for the compliments."

U.A. had already classified and organized all the offers, so the students didn't have to worry about that.

With that topic settled, the important part came—the one everyone had been waiting for.

The hero name selection.

For that, Nemuri entered through the door, causing quite a stir with her arrival.

She stood in front of the class and began her speech.

"Listen up, brats. You might think this is a game, but don't forget that your hero names show the world who you are. A bad name will get you mocked. A name that's too simple will make you invisible. Of course, you still have time to make mistakes before your official debut after graduation."

Nemuri smiled toward Allen.

Not only had his Chat suggested names, but this woman had given him a thousand proposals over the last few days.

From "NewMoon", "Daybreak", and her favorite, "Midday."

Needless to say, all of them were designed to emphasize his relationship with her.

Of course, Kaina hadn't allowed that and had also suggested names—from "Mr. Walker" to "Sir Mosin."

It wasn't a secret that her name came from the bolt-action rifle Mosin-Nagant, so that was the connection.

When Allen pointed out that both women seemed to be trying to make his code name something complementary to theirs, they each got embarrassed in their own way—and of course, they denied it.

"You first!" Nemuri said, choosing the first victim.

Aoyama fixed his hair and stood up with absolute confidence.

"Of course. It could only be me."

Once in front of everyone, Aoyama announced his name.

"The Shining Hero — I Can Not Stop Twinkling."

Everyone was shocked, since it was literally a sentence.

"That's a bit long," Allen said while holding his chin.

Why are you so calm?! Everyone thought.

Nemuri stepped forward, took a board, and wrote something down.

"If you shorten 'can not' to 'can't,' it'll be shorter."

"I see. Thank you, Midnight-sensei."

No one could believe such a long name was acceptable, but since Midnight had given it the OK, nobody could complain.

The next one to stand up was Mina.

As she passed by Allen's desk, she dropped a small piece of paper.

When Allen opened it, he found a message.

Please choose something with King in your name, honey — Mina.

Allen blinked in confusion at such a request, but he quickly understood the reason.

"The name I chose is Alien Queen!~"

Midnight jumped in alarm.

"You mean that acid-spitting thing from the movies?! Stop!"

Mina lowered her head and returned to her seat.

As she passed Allen, she whispered that it wasn't necessary anymore.

With the first two looking like they were joking, most of the class felt like they were somehow obligated to make a joke with their own names.

"Can I go next, kero?" Tsuyu asked.

"Go ahead!" Midnight smiled.

Tsuyu stood up and walked to the front.

There she showed the board with her name.

— Froppy —

"Some of you might already know, but I've wanted this to be my hero name for a long time," Tsuyu said confidently. "The Rainy Season Hero, Froppy."

"Not bad," Allen commented with a half-smile.

Everyone agreed—it was a very good name, simple but full of personality, and above all unique.

"Thank you, Allen-chan. I look forward to your turn," Froppy smiled back.

Midnight raised her thumb. "I love it, approved!"

The next to step forward was Kirishima.

"Me too! The Manly Hero: Red Riot!"

"This is a tribute to the chivalrous hero, Crimson Riot, isn't it?" Midnight commented.

"That's right. It's a bit old-fashioned, but he's always been my role model," Kirishima said with a smile.

The next one to step forward was Jiro.

"The Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack."

Midnight nodded. "I like it!"

Next was Shoji.

"The Tentacle Hero: Tentakol."

"I see, you mixed tentacle and 'tako.' Creative," Midnight said with approval. "Next!"

Sero stood up and walked to the front.

"The Taping Hero: Cellophane."

"Easy to understand," Allen commented.

Next was Ojiro.

"The Martial Arts Hero: Tailman."

"This highlights a physical trait. I like it!" Midnight declared.

Unexpectedly, the next one was Mina again. She stood in front of everyone and declared:

"Pinkie!"

"Pink hair, pink skin—very fitting!" Midnight smiled.

"How ordinary..." Monoma commented indifferently.

When Allen heard that, he narrowed his eyes and caused Monoma's seat to freeze below zero.

"Ahh!" Monoma shouted as he jumped to his feet.

Idiot... everyone thought.

Bakugo stepped in front of everyone with his usual aggression.

"The King of Explosive Murder!"

"Mm, you'd better choose another one," Midnight commented with indifferent eyes.

"Why?!"

"That's clearly a villain name, idiot," Allen said mockingly. "I think Rabid Badger suits you better."

Everyone laughed, making Bakugo furious. For a moment he wanted to fight, but Aizawa—who, by the way, had been sleeping inside a sleeping bag—opened his eyes.

"If you destroy my classroom, I'll expel you, Explosive Badger."

"Ug..." Bakugo gritted his teeth but calmed down.

Raven – They should put a muzzle on him before he bites someone.

Ruby – Hahaha yeah.

....

Shortly after, Momo stood proudly in front of everyone.

"The Hero Who Creates Everything: Creati."

Allen smiled. Even though Momo speaks politely (except with him), she gives the impression of someone humble—but she also has her pride, and she showed it with her title.

Natasha – Looks like someone is a bad influence.

When Toru's turn came, Allen smiled because he already knew the name the girl had chosen.

"The Stealth Heroine: Invisible Girl."

Kitty – Hahaha, it's true. Simple, but I like it~

Next was Kaminari with the title "The Stun Gun Hero: Chargezuma." After him came Tokoyami with his choice, "Tsukuyomi," followed by Todoroki, who chose the name Shoto—somewhat boring, but Midnight didn't pressure him.

Following Todoroki was Monoma's turn. He walked forward with pride and an arrogant smile. It was impressive that even after having his balls frozen a moment ago, he could still maintain that expression.

"Phantom Thief."

His choice was simple and to the point. Perhaps he expected applause or something, because he remained standing there until Midnight told him to sit down.

Once Monoma finished, it was Ochako's turn. She looked nervous. Allen realized this and used a template to send her a telepathic message.

– Have confidence, it's a great name –

Ochako looked at him before smiling. The girl stood in front of everyone before raising her board.

"Uravity."

There was a moment of silence before everyone expressed their approval of the name.

MJ – How cute, she mixed her name and her Quirk~

Itsuka and Ibara still hadn't chosen, so like Todoroki they used their own names for now. They still had two days left to decide.

As for Iida and Deku, they looked unsure, so Allen was the one who stepped forward next.

Everyone fell silent and even seemed nervous for some reason. Even Aizawa opened his eyes, and Midnight became serious.

Allen scanned the classroom with his gaze before smiling faintly.

"The truth is that over the last few days, many people have suggested a lot of names to me... I also thought of some."

Allen made a silver card appear in his hand.

[Template: Levy McGarden

Origin: Fairy Tail

QG 3: (Very Good) 15 min]

With Levy's template, Allen was able to use her Solid Script Magic, which allowed him to write in the air.

"At first I thought about keeping it simple—something common—and taking advantage of my last name," Allen began writing.

– The Walker –

The choice was so simple that it left everyone speechless. Even so, they knew it suited Allen perfectly.

"Very good, but isn't there another one you prefer?" Nemuri asked, trying to seduce Allen with a sweet tone.

"Are you really okay with that?" Aizawa asked.

Allen flashed that smirk he usually wears when he's up to something and wrote again.

"But then I thought—does this really express what I am? That doubt led me to this."

– The Strongest Hero: Walker –

Hey, have some humility! Everyone thought in shock.

"I know, I know. It's still not enough. So I went further. You know... Plus Ultra."

– The Incredible and Unique Strongest, Omega Walker –

Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor. Even Monoma was shocked. He thought he was arrogant, but Allen's ego was about to reach the sun.

"Allen..." Midnight gasped, sweat droplets on her face. "Don't you think that's a little... You know."

"Yes, I know. Where's the humility in this hero name? I know that too. That's why I thought of another one." Allen smiled while writing in the air.

– The Supreme Magnificent Strongest, Absolute Walker Omega... of the People –

Allen raised his hand. "You don't need to clap—I know you're impressed by this. But you know, I'm a very humble person."

Everyone fell silent.

"It's beautiful, don't you think?" Allen nodded proudly, almost moved as he looked at his superhero name. This name represented his identity and genius—but it was also humble to add "of the People."

"Rejected!" Kaina shouted as she burst through the door.

Nemuri unexpectedly looked happy to see her.

Allen sat down in his chair in a bad mood. In the end, his wonderful name had been mutilated into just "Absolute Walker." It was a name with impact, but it left Allen dissatisfied. Although it was inevitable they wouldn't allow him to use such an absurd name.

The rest of the students also took their turns. After that came normal classes, and before they realized it, it was already afternoon.

....

At the end of the classes, Aizawa told them to prepare themselves.

Field training was not the same as practicing in controlled environments like the USJ or Ground Beta.

There were innocent lives that could be lost if they made a mistake. The professional heroes were giving them an opportunity, but it could also be the end of their careers as heroes if they ended up causing someone's death.

After hearing this, most of them became nervous to varying degrees.

Once it was over, everyone received the lists of their offers.

Allen smiled, and the moment he showed it to his classmates, everyone was shocked.

Offer from the Hero: All Might

Hero Agency: Endeavor

Hero Agency: Hawks

Hero Agency: Best Jeanist

Hero Agency: Mirko

Hero Agency: Edgeshot

Hero Agency: Kamui Woods

Hero Agency: Wash

Hero Agency: Yoroi Musha

Hero Agency: Ryukyu

He received offers from all ten of the top heroes!

Every single member of the current Top Ten had extended their hand to Allen. Something like this had never happened in history!

"Oh," Allen chuckled.

He was sure Endeavor hadn't offered him a spot out of goodwill—and that All Might probably had something planned...

"Interesting...?"

Allen kept looking at the list to see who the other nine brave ones were who had offered him a place besides the Top Ten.

"Nighteye Agency..." Allen murmured.
