The Sapphire Cavalier did not rush to finish her.
That patience made the cold feel even worse.
The knight kept its lance under her guard and let the frost climb by inches. Aldric stood behind it with one hand open, fingers steady, eyes on the point where Ty kept trying to force more heat through a wound that would not take it.
"You are forcing heat into a shape already beaten."
Ty shoved another pulse into the queen anyway.
