Chapter 181 - Early morning (1/2)

[Silvia]

There was no feeling better than waking up all nice and toasty in a nest of furs, with stones beneath humming with heat, and winter just a distant thought. Shame that Silvia didn't get to enjoy that, as she woke up to a cold shiver running through her petite body, through every bone in it, and every bit of pale flesh.

She fought it with a sleepy whine and pulled the heavy furs higher up over herself until only her messy silver hair and a pair of closed, golden eyes peeked out from beneath the black. Then shivered again. 'Ugh...' was all she could think at the moment.

Her feet began wiggling under the covers in search of anything warm nearby, anything but the feeling of cold against her hairless bits. Much to her relief, she found such a thing right next to her, something very doofus-shaped and warm. Aster.

Without a single thought in her sleepy mind, she scooted closer and pressed herself against her sleeping brother, her flat chest against the side of his, one leg thrown over his skinny thighs, and an arm over his tummy. A tiny grunt came from the boy as she did, but he didn't wake up. Just kept snoring softly in her ear.

For another minute, she kept trembling against him like an abandoned kitten, her hips wiggling as she tried to get as much contact as possible. Then a little less, and then even less until the shivers were gone and she finally relaxed into the furs and him. Just when she was about to drift back to sleep, to the dream in which she owned a whole herd of fluffy, flying goats, she felt something poke into her thigh, the one that was thrown over him.

Silvia ignored it at first, assuming it was just a random fold in the furs or something, but the more she ignored it, the harder the thing dug into her soft flesh. A little wrinkle formed between her brows as she moved her leg a bit to get rid of it, but it didn't help; the thing just shifted with her, pressing into a different spot, which annoyed her to no end.

With a sleepy sigh, her small hand slid down the boy's tummy and towards the source of her annoyance, a slow, lazy movement beneath the covers. A moment later, she found the thing with her fingers. It was... warm. And hard. And pulsing, faintly. 'That's not a fold,' she thought, blinking one sleepy eye open and lifting the furs a bit.

With her head still on the boy's shoulder, she looked into the dim space their naked bodies were hiding under and saw the thing that was bothering her. A little something peeked out from beneath her pale thigh, squished painfully by it. Pink and just as hard as she saw it yesterday, with a thin foreskin pulled back all the way to the base.

'Oh, that's... yep, that's it,' Silvia thought, wincing at the sight. Shifting her leg up a bit, she freed the little guy and let it rest against the back of her thigh, almost like on a pillow. His pink head dug into the soft flesh of hers, but she didn't mind, and instead just covered them both with the furs, hiding them from the cold once more.

For a long, quiet moment, she did nothing but watch his bony chest rise and fall beneath her cheek. Her sleepy mind slowly started turning, and she remembered all that had happened yesterday, starting with breakfast at Margaret's and how many giggles she had to suppress during it. A tremendous amount of them.

A soft smile came to her face at the memory of that, at the way this Tobias boy just kept giving eyes to Aster from across the table, and how much blushing that caused. Funniest thing ever.

Then the walk through the village happened in her mind, the dog, the hearthwork with all those women and the honey buns, and... 'The house,' she thought with a small, happy wiggle of her butt against the furs. It took her a good minute to make sure it wasn't just a dream, even pinched her thigh for that.

The cleaning came next, the whole day of it, and it made her pretty face scrunch up in the most miserable way possible. But then her features smoothed out as she remembered the evening after it, their little dinner together, and the wash.

And... the massage. 'Yeah, the massage,' Silvia thought with a bright little smile returning to her face. That was the best part of the whole day, better than even the honey buns and seeing the dog. She could still feel the tingling all over her from how much squeezing and kneading he did. So good.

Though she couldn't help but hum worriedly at what she saw under the covers. 'Did Mom not take care of him...?' she wondered, lifting the black fur once more to have a look at her little brother's hardness. She moved her leg up and let the poor thing slide against the soft, pale skin of her inner thigh, until it came into view.

All swollen and needy and left alone like that, the sight of it made Silvia sigh through her nose. Then once more, when she looked at his sleepy face and realized he had to sleep with it through the whole night. After all that he did for them both yesterday, too. And then she squished it quite a bit with her leg on top of it all.

With a guilty shake of her head, the girl carefully slid her cold fingers once more along his warm tummy and down to the crotch. There, she gently took hold of him, a warm, careful grip around the base of the shaft, just to check if everything was alright with him. A simple health check any sister worth their name would do.

Aster squirmed in his sleep at that, a quiet whine leaving him, but didn't wake up. A soft hum left Silvia's own lips as she felt him throb in her hand, all needy and hot like it always was, and she exhaled a small sigh of relief at that. He was alright, not broken in two like she feared it might be after her thigh squashed it.

Slowly, her delicate fingers explored the rest of his length, feeling every vein and bump on it, and the softness of the skin that covered it, until she reached the tip. She gave it a few gentle squeezes with her thumb and index finger, and was rewarded with a bit of moisture leaking from him. It felt just as fine. Very spongy.

But what wasn't fine were his testicles. The very moment her small hand moved from his shaft down to them, she noticed how full they were, much more swollen and heavy than usual. "That's... not good," she murmured, gently caressing them with her fingertips, feeling not a single hair on them, just smooth, warm skin.

For a minute or so, she did that, just kind of held and touched him there, a massage of sorts that she hoped would ease the discomfort in them. She wasn't allowed to actually help with it, so that was all she could do. The furs that covered them both hid the movements of her small, pale hand, and from the outside, it looked as if the two siblings were just cuddling, nothing more.

Still, just to make sure she wouldn't get spanked into oblivion for it, as this kind of healing rub could be easily mistaken for something naughty even though it wasn't, the girl lifted her head from the boy's shoulder and looked over him at their mother... only to find the space empty. There was nothing but an indent in the furs where she used to be.

Her fingers curled around the poor, full testicles in worry, giving them a tight squeeze that made Aster groan in his sleep. Her eyes darted left and right, and with her heart starting to beat a bit faster, she finally noticed all the wrong things around them.

The bed shouldn't be this cold, the air this chilly, and the fire this silent. No flickering light came from beyond the curtain, no hum of the stones, no anything. Add to that a missing mother, and you get one panicked girl. "Mom...?" she whispered into the dimness of the hearthbed, pulling the covers down and letting go of the testicles; a faint outline of her fingers on them remained for a moment.

It was only when Silvia pushed the heavy curtain aside that she calmed down, seeing her mother standing by the window and looking out into the grayness of the early morning. Just a blurry shape in the dim, wearing a dark tunic and a headscarf over her silver hair, leaning on the windowsill and lost in thought. Her pale butt stood out against the darkness of the room as she wore no pants, her bare feet against the cold floorboards.

Carefully and with great difficulty, the girl climbed down from the tall hearthbed and onto the floor, leaving the snoring boy all by himself. Almost right away, her entire body prickled with goosebumps, every bit of paleness and pinkness reacting to the cold, making her realize the stones weren't as cold as she'd thought. They were still a bit warm.

With a quick inhale, she began tiptoeing her way over to her mother, her bare feet pitter-pattering on the cold floor. "Mom?" Silvia hushed once she got close enough, a quiet little sound that made the woman flinch from whatever thought she was in, "is everything... alright?"

Nivalis turned her head to the side and looked down at her, her blue eyes barely visible in the dim. "Morning, sweetie," she whispered, smiling softly, "...and yeah, everything's fine. I woke up to put more wood in the fire—it almost went out overnight. Then I noticed how dusty our clothes were from yesterday, so I shook them a bit through the window," she added, motioning at the pile of clothes on the floor, "...and now I'm just watching the morning and thinking about things." She paused, then asked, "Did I wake you up? Sorry about that."

Silvia shook her head at that, almost tripping over the clothes as she made her way over. "You didn't. I just... it was cold, and you were gone, and I got a bit scared," she whispered, pressing her naked body against her mother's side and looking up at her; her thighs also had quite a few goosebumps from the cold. "What are you thinking about?"

"I'm sorry I scared you, sweetie," Nivalis said, sighing softly. After a small pause, she continued, "About us, about... how everything changed so quickly, and just..." she looked back out the window, "watching the morning. It's a nice one," she finished, wrapping her arm around her baby girl and rubbing the small of her back to warm her up a bit.

Silvia hummed at that and raised herself on her toes to look out of the window as well. It wasn't open fully, just a crack between the shutters, but it was still enough for her to see what was happening outside. It was an incredibly early morning, with the sky just beginning to brighten a bit on the horizon, the pines surrounding their yard barely visible in the grayness. "The snowstorm's over?" she murmured after a second, noticing the silent forest, snowflakes falling lazily, the wind just a soft rustling of the trees.

Nivalis gave a slow nod, her hand not stopping the rub. "Yeah..." she breathed, "...it is." For a quiet minute, they stood there in near darkness, watching the view, listening to the silence of the winter forest, and to each other's breathing. Up until Silvia's toes began to hurt from standing on them for too long. "Go back to bed, sweetie. It should warm up soon," Nivalis whispered, noticing her struggle.

Shaking her head, Silvia reached out and grabbed onto the edge of the windowsill, then tried to pull herself up onto it. Very unsuccessfully. "I want to watch the sunrise with you, Mom," she breathed and tried again, groaning quietly. "Why is everything so high in this house?" she muttered under her breath.

With a gentle laugh escaping from her lips, Nivalis slipped her hands under her armpits and helped her up, putting her onto the sill. Tummy down against the cold wood, her bare butt and legs hung over the edge, and her toes finally relaxed, curling a bit in the air. "Cover your ears, honey. So that no one sees them," she whispered right after, giving her pale bottom a little pat.

Nodding obediently, Silvia put her palms over her pointy ears, then shimmied a bit to get comfy; her ribs pressed uncomfortably against the wood. "I get it. The first thing I did when I woke up was pinch myself a little to check if it wasn't all a dream," she whispered with a smile, tiny puffs of air leaving her as she talked. "It's a bit hard to believe, isn't it? Our own little house, with just the three of us." Her legs kept dangling, her butt and thighs wiggling a bit as she looked out.

Nivalis nodded, smiling the same dreamy smile. "Very, sweetie. Very hard to believe," she whispered, leaning forward against the sill beside her. Their butts, of the exact same pale hue, faced the dark of the room—one small and petite, the other big and soft. Her fingers moved to the girl's silver hair, gently adjusting it to drape over her shoulders and chest, hiding her developing curves from any possible prying eyes outside.

With the two of them pressed tightly like that, they watched the dark forest; not even a hint of the sun just yet. "That massage thing yesterday?" came a quiet whisper from Silvia after a minute of comfortable silence, "That was... really nice. And it wasn't even... you know." She paused, then, a little quieter, "Do you know why he did that instead of... well? Is he okay?"

That barely made any sense, and yet Nivalis understood her just fine. An amused, quiet hum came from Nivalis as she thought about that. "He is, and I do. He told me why, though not sure I'm allowed to say," she whispered, her lips forming a soft, secretive smile. That made Silvia wiggle her hips excitedly—a lot of 'come on' and 'tell me' in that movement. With a soft chuckle, Nivalis leaned closer and murmured, "He thought it was the most boy-like thing he could do. He called it 'taking care of his women.'"

A high-pitched giggle rose from the depths of the girl's lungs at that, so loud that Nivalis had to shush her and give her another pat. "Taking care of his women," Silvia repeated in a hushed, breathy tone, "that's so sweet and silly." A small, satisfied sigh escaped her as she grinned a wide, sisterly smile, with the dim light of the morning playing on her face.

Even the blue of her eyes smiled as Nivalis nodded down at her. "Very sweet," she agreed, her fingers tracing patterns on the girl's back, "and very him. But don't tell him I told you or make fun of it, or he might never do it again." Her gaze then flicked behind them at the curtain of their hearthbed, checking for any signs of movement. There were none, and shortly after her eyes returned to her daughter, to the soft, pale curve of her cheek, to her lashes casting delicate shadows over the golden irises.

With a little nod and just as quick a glance behind her, Silvia raised her hand to show a pinkie. "I won't," she murmured mischievously, looking up from under sleepy eyelids. A soft chuckle answered her, and they locked their fingers together with a gentle shake. Just a silly moment between mother and daughter.

They went quiet right after and just watched the morning happen outside their small window. Watched the stars pale away from the dark violet of the sky and the trees turn from shadowy silhouettes to the dark greens and browns they were.

In just ten minutes, their little yard turned from a dim, gray place to one of gentle blues and purples, and even a bit of orange as the sun more and more neared the horizon. The very first sunrise at their new home, and there was something incredibly beautiful about it. Words couldn't do justice to all the feelings it caused.

It wasn't until a faint sniffle broke the silence that Silvia tore her gaze away from it. Looking up, she found her mother still leaning on the sill next to her, watching the same beautiful view... only now her cheeks were wet with tears. Tears not of sadness or pain or anything like that, but of overwhelming happiness. Of a mother who finally got to give her children a home of their own.

The girl opened her mouth to ask something, but then closed it and just watched her for a moment, at how her tears glistened in the gentle light of the early morning. Somehow, it made her even prettier than she already was, a delicate, fragile kind of pretty.

It took Nivalis an embarrassingly long moment to notice. When she did, she gave a quiet, wet sniffle and a chuckle, immediately wiping her glistening eyes. "Sorry, sweetie," she breathed, a bit louder than she meant to, "I'm just..." She didn't finish, just waved her hand at the view in front of them, and then at the house behind.

With a little hum, the girl reached up and helped a little, brushing her small fingers against the squishy, wet curve of her mother's cheek. "Yeah," was all she said in a quiet whisper, and nothing else.

That touch made Nivalis pause and frown in worry at how incredibly cold that little hand felt against her skin, almost like ice. She glanced down at the pale expanse of her daughter's naked body and noticed all the goosebumps and shivers of hers that she hadn't before, being too lost in the view and her feelings.

And she wasn't much different herself, with her bits trembling and her nipples so hard and perky against the wool of her tunic that she feared they might poke holes in it. "Alright, that's enough of that for now," she murmured, pushing the wooden shutters closed before their faces. "How about we go back to the bed and warm up, hmm? Laze around for a bit longer." With a twist of her wrist, she latched them tightly, and darkness swallowed the room once more. "We still have some time before the roosters crow."

Silvia nodded and, with a little wiggle, jumped off the sill onto the wooden boards, her delicate feet making a soft thump. "Alright," she whispered, followed by a shiver and a rub of her arms.

Taking hands, the two of them shuffled their way through the dark, past the clothes, then past the dining table, and all the way to their tall, weird-looking hearthbed. A weak orange glow lit their faces as they neared it, the fire having grown a bit while they were away.

Pushing the heavy curtain aside, Nivalis helped the girl climb back inside, then got in herself and let it fall closed. "There we go," she hushed with a smile as she watched the girl dive headfirst into the furs and then wiggle her way to the snoring boy. Slowly, she then took off her tunic and headscarf, letting her long, silver hair fall down her chest and shoulders and all the way to her hips. Just like her daughter, she had to fight the heavy furs for a few moments, but she managed to get under them soon enough.

Aster flinched cutely as the two of them pressed their naked bodies against him, their cold skin against his scorching one. "This is n-nice..." Silvia breathed in between shivers and wiggles as she tried to get comfy. The stones beneath were much warmer than before, making her toes curl, and her thighs rub against each other in pleasure. It was nice, not as hot as she'd like it to be, but nice.

Nivalis hummed at that, her long ears all red from the cold as she relaxed against her children and just enjoyed the moment and the quiet. A whole minute of it, until she heard a very shy, hesitant, "Mom?" that made her crack one eye open and look at the girl. There, still on his shoulder and looking up at her, was a golden-eyed daughter with naughty ideas in her mind, "...did you take care of him last night? After the massage?"
