Chapter 650 - Chapter 650: Jigoro vs Alvida

"Who are you?" Jigoro barked as he raised his cutlass. His eyes were burning with challenge.

"I am Alvida," she replied coolly, as Serphina rested on her shoulder. "A proud member of the Love Pirates," she added.

Jigoro frowned. "The Love Pirates? What is that supposed to be?" he asked.

Alvida's lips curled into a confident smile. "The ones who will take you all down," she replied. She thought he was just a zombie.

Jigoro chuckled darkly. "You got in my way for the swordsman. That was your mistake," he said as he shifted his stance. "Thirty-Six Pound Phoenix," he added as he swung in a wide circular arc. He compressed the air into a spiraling projectile that went towards her.

Alvida's eyes narrowed. "Shave," Alvida said as she vanished from sight. She dodged the attack and reappeared directly in front of him. Her grip tightened on her mace. "Kanabo Swing," Alvida said as she brought the weapon down with crushing force.

Jigoro tried to raise his cutlass, but he was too slow. The mace slammed into his chest, and sent him flying backward. He felt like he lost his strength. He twisted midair and flipped before landing on his feet. "You're quick," he admitted.

Then, with a sudden burst of speed, he crossed his two swords over his chest, the third clenched between his teeth. "Oni Giri," Jigoro said as he dashed forward. The blades carved through the air. In a single motion, he unleashed a devastating three-pronged slash.

The strikes tore across Alvida's chest as she was hurled backwards. She skidded across the ground. Her boots dug into the floor and stopped. She panted and smiled.

Jigoro's eyes widened. "What? Why are you still standing?" he asked. "Try this, Bull Ogre Brave Claw," Jigoro said as he leveled his swords. Their tips aimed directly at her, and he lunged forward.

Alvida's expression hardened. She raised her mace. "Kanabo Breaker," she said as she swung Seraphina in a arc.

Their weapons collided with a deafening boom. A shockwave erupted from the impact, tearing through the ground beneath them. Tiles cracked and dust exploded into the air, The rooftop trembled under the sheer force of their clash.

They both held their ground and jumped back. Alvida got to her feet. "Slip Punch," Alvida said as she punched the air with a sudden, slippery force. She propelled the air towards Jigoro. The compressed air hit Jigoro in the stomach and he bent forward with that attack.

"Zombies don't feel pain," Jigoro said.

Jigoro lunged forward. He swung down hard as he aimed to cleave Alvida in two.

Alvida braced as she raised her iron mace. Their weapons collided. The impact rattled through her arms.

Jigoro didn't stop. He snarled and swung again, He slashed left and then right in rapid succession.

Alvida twisted her body as she narrowly slipped past each strike. There were sparks as his blade carved into the floor where she had stood a heartbeat earlier.

He pressed the assault. Alvida leapt back and raised her mace defensively.

Jigoro charged again. He swung right. Alvida ducked below. Jigoro swung to the left with his swords. Alvida weaved to the left. She took a step forward and swung her mace.

However Jigoro pivoted and dodged the attack. He swung downwards but Alvida jumped to side and took a step back. She had a smile on her face.

Jigoro had a grin across his face. "You are good," he admitted. His eyes gleamed with battle-lust. Then, with a sudden burst of speed, he lowered his stance and charged. "Bull Needles," he said as he put his swords forward like the horns of a raging bull. He charged towards Alvidd and started to swing his swords in rapid succession.

Alvida's eyes narrowed. She planted her feet firmly, her muscles coiled with power. She raised her massive mace high above her head. "Kanabo Crusher," as she brought the weapon down in a devastating arc. She hit the sword with crushing force and Jigoro pointed downwards. The impact detonated with a thunderous shockwave. The tiles exploded outward. Dust and sparks filled the air.

Jigoro took his blades from the ground and jumped back. "You are better than that swordman," Jigoro said.

"You and that swordsman Zoro have a lot in common," Alvida said.

"We have nothing in common," Jigoro replied as he had three swords out.

Alvida smiled. "As I knew, you have his shadow, time to take it back," she said.

"You will not," Jigoro replied.

Alvida's eyes gleamed as she tightened her grip on her mace. She spun her body with brutal force. The weapon whistled through the air. "Kanabo Reaper," Alvida said as the massive mace carved a wide arc.

However, Jigoro was already moving. "Blade Wolf Stream," he said as he raised his two swords and deflected the sweeping force of the mace. The blades rang as they absorbed the shock. His body twisted. As Alvida's swing carried through, Jigoro slipped inside her guard. His third sword, clenched between his teeth, flashed forward. With a sudden burst of speed, he spun.

The third blade slashed across Alvida's stomach in a vicious cut.

Alvida staggered back a step. "You're fast," she admitted, a smirk tugging at her lips. "But I'm not done yet," she said.

Jigoro stopped and looked at her. "There is no cut there," he said.

"Yes, I have the Slip Slip fruit," Alvida replied. "It allows me to slip my body," she added.

"That does not matter," Jigoro growled. "Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri," he said as he twisted his swords. The spiraling motion amplified the force of his strike, the blades cutting in multiple directions at once. The attack carved through the air with devastating power.

Alvida braced herself, her grip tightening on her mace. Her muscles tensed as she twisted her body into a full rotation. "Kanabo Maelstrom," she bellowed as she swung her iron mace spun in a wide, spiraling arc. The air howled as the weapon cut through it, generating a shockwave that rippled outward like a storm.

The two attacks collided with a deafening boom. The floor beneath them cracked and buckled. The tiles exploded outward as the shockwave tore through the room.

Alvida staggered and dropped to one knee. She panted heavily. There was blood dripping from the corner of her mouth. The sheer force of Jigoro's strike had rattled her to her core.

Jigoro stood tall for a moment. He looked at his blades. There were cracks spreading across the steel, and with a sharp shatter, his swords crumbled into fragments. His eyes widened, then softened into a grin. "You are strong," he admitted.

Alvida wiped the blood from her lips. "So are you," she replied firmly.

Before Jigoro could respond, she flicked her wrist and tossed a cube of salt into his open mouth. His body convulsed violently. With a guttural cry, a black shadow tore free and went out the window. Jigoro's body slumped and collapsed.

Alvida exhaled. At that moment, Franky, Honey, Mikita and Kalifa come running up. "Are you okay?" Honey asked.

"That one was a strong one," Mikita said as she looked at Jigoro.

Kalifa looked outside the window. "There is a bigger one there," Kalifa replied as she looked at Oars.

Alvida got up. "He will be strong but we are stronger," she replied as she walked up and looked at Oars.
