Dokkaebi, ancient demons and chimeric species of humanoid, intelligent beings that lived before the beast people took over the world and diversified into hundreds of different tribes. It is said that the Dokkaebi are the Ancestors of the Beast People, and that while they went extinct, their weakest children, who were born with less and less chimeric traits, inherited the world as they hid beneath the ground, the mountains, or the seas.
How their culture was, what they were like, how they communicated, and more has been mostly lost due to the immense amount of time since their extinction. However, several of their ruins remain, such as the ruins that the Heavenly Demon possessed, which allowed anybody that entered it to cultivate their souls through a series of gruesome trials.
However, from what Anna had learned, which her Egos shared, she could have never expected that the Dokkaebi were not only still alive, but that the first of their species they met was… this strange.
"What's wrong? Why are you so silent?" Sighed the Dokkaebi woman, looking at the three egos. "You certainly look strange though… Are you the new races of this world? How many eons have I slept? I suppose I'm indeed in the far future."
"Y-Yes, I guess? I am not even sure what year it is right now…" Transcendent muttered. "But uh, well, it's good to see… someone so ancient."
"You're not evil, right?" wondered Yang.
"She's definitely evil!" Uroboros said. "I can tell, her eyes… she has murdered millions! A demon! Just like me…!"
"Hmph…" The Dokkaebi woman took another step, her Aura growing stronger. "I have indeed killed millions… But well, that's in the past, right? To begin with, the reason why I decided to imprison myself here was to sleep and abandon that world. I was tired of its conflicts, of its people… I imprisoned myself here to sleep for eons."
"A lot is happening, by the way, and you couldn't have chosen a worse time to wake up, though," Yang muttered. "And yeah, we don't generally care about your past… don't worry."
"We aren't from this world," said Transcendent. "And… well, it would take a while to explain things."
"I can mostly figure out what's going on, yes. I can feel it all around the world…" the Dokkaebi woman smiled, her long, black scaled tail wagging around. "The world is in peril, huh? And there are invaders… New Venerables. A war. And these little pets you've got here, how adorable! They remind me of the Primordial Beasts that lived in the ancient Primordial Garden. I assume they went extinct except for these two?"
The Dokkaebi walked towards the beasts, who quickly seemed to have grown friendly with her, licking her entire body and rubbing their face on her.
"W-Why…? Why are they being so friendly with her?"
"They just met her, though…"
Anna's Egos were shocked to see this development, even more so when this person had just shown up out of nowhere and had no history or time together with the Primordial Beasts.
"I am quite good with animals, you see," the Dokkaebi giggled, petting their heads. "Are you in a hurry? I assume you came here mining for these crystals so these beasts can become strong enough, right?"
"Yeah, that's right… We're in a hurry, and your appearance here kind of threw us off…" Transcendence said. "But that's our objective. Now… we're curious, where will you stand in this war?"
"Hmm~ I do wonder the same thing. Where do I stand? What should I do?" the Dokkaebi woman giggled. "Should I let this world be destroyed? I practically have no attachments at all, after all…"
"For someone as strong as you to be so completely indifferent about the suffering of others…" Yang muttered. "What a waste of power… So you are not even interested in helping us?"
"Hmmm… I haven't decided yet; please be more patient, okay?" the Dokkaebi said. "But these pets… they're cute. Want more snacks? You can have them all!"
The Dokkaebi stepped forward, her powerful and gigantic Aura spreading everywhere, as Anna's egos felt an immense pressure that forced them to kneel!
TRUUUM!
A shockwave of darkness, light, and flames spread everywhere; all the elements mixing together created a strange, bizarre, and chaotic mass of pure raw Ki and Spiritual Essence merged, refined, corrupted, and refined even more.
A power that none of them had ever seen in the other Venerables, a power that seemed completely alien, despite originating from this world.
Crack, crack…!
CRASH!
The walls, ceiling, and floor began being torn apart by her own powerful Otherworldly Aura, which shaped as countless black, red, purple, and golden-colored tentacles with jaws and eyes, tearing apart everything and triturating them.
"Eat to your heart's content, cute puppy and kitty," giggled the Dokkaebi, as she glanced at the two beasts devouring the piles of crystals, growing stronger and stronger.
She continued serving them more and more, as she looked at the Egos, who had yet to even be able to speak or step up due to her enormous Aura.
"You know? Back then, there was a gigantic war where all these foolish old men and women killed each other for these crystals… So much bloodshed happened; billions of innocent lives were lost. And ultimately, it seems that drove our kind to extinction."
As she talked, the trio felt her Aura slowly become less around their bodies, allowing them to move and speak.
"Y-You mean that the Dokkaebi… killed one another for these crystals?!" Transcendent asked. "Wait, I know they're very precious, but even then…"
"Hahah, indeed. It is ridiculous the more you think about it," the woman laughed. "I might be the last of my species now. How ironic, despite being the person that everyone in the world wanted dead, I survived until the end… It's a bit fascinating, though, how the future has changed so much. I'm kind of getting pumped up to watch what's next."
"So you're only going to watch despite all that power?!" Uroboros groaned, confronting her. "Pathetic… It is your world we're talking about! What if it dies?!"
"What an insolent little snake, but you're cute so you're forgiven," the woman smiled. "Yes, I do wonder the same thing from time to time, but I… just feel barely anything. I can't help it but not care. Maybe it comes with the powers I have. With the Dao I have assimilated…"
The woman walked around the Egos, analyzing them.
"But I am bored, though, so I want to have some fun… I'll watch," she said. "You can count on me as a viewer, perhaps~?"
And then, the three Egos' eyes widened before something that appeared in front of their eyes.
[The Cosmic Throne {The Wanderer of the Forgotten World} is looking at you with great expectations.]
[Her life has been too long, and through her many experiences, she has lost interest and attachment to all things, reaching a level of Nihilistic Enlightenment that cannot be easily matched.]
[However, she's extremely bored now and is itching to see something interesting. If you can make her feel entertained, maybe she will do more than watch, or not.]
"C-Cosmic Throne?!"
The three Egos thought the same thing at the same time, as they noticed the woman's crimson and golden eyes glowing brightly, piercing through their souls and existences.
Indeed, this woman in front of them was…
A Constellation.
Perhaps the first, or the only, Constellation of the world of Bestia, if Anna is not included, as she didn't originate from Bestia.
"So what… What is your plan? What do you desire out of this…?" Transcendent asked. "Do you truly only want entertainment?"
"Yes… Nothing else for now," the woman nodded. "I'm bored after all… I don't even feel sleepy anymore, and I don't need food to live either. In fact, everything tastes so dull as well. It's really boring to live like this…"
"So you're a Constellation of this world, but when the machines invaded, you didn't do anything?!" Yang asked. "And even then, the mere presence of a Constellation should've done something against it, but nothing happened…"
"Hmm? Machines? Oh! You mean those tiny little metallic creatures? They're pretty interesting!" Nodded the woman. "Maybe—hm?"
CRAAASH!
Out of nowhere, interrupting their conversation, a gigantic metallic claw rushed down as a massive mechanical creature emerged.
A chimera between several oceanic robots merged together, hundreds of them, being tremendously large in size and bulky, overflowing with Electromagnetic Energies and Ki!
"INTRUDERS DETECTED! INITIATING EXTERMINATION."
FLASH!
The gigantic creature jumped towards them, swinging its massive metallic claws, as the Dokkaebi's eyes glowed; she happened to be within the machines' range.
BAAAMM!!
An explosion of blue lightning and ki erupted as it engulfed her completely; the immense attack was strong enough to deal a lot of damage to the Egos too.
And yet… they were fine.
"Huh?"
They glanced at her, who stood there; the massive metallic claw had hit her head directly, and yet, there was no scratch, no pain, nothing.
Her slightly sleepy eyes glanced at the metallic being as she smiled lightly.
"You're interesting; let me dismantle you and see what's inside~"
She waved her claws as her powers quickly encompassed the entire machine, crushing it completely; pieces of metal, circuits, and tubes fell from the robot's body as countless jaws gnawed through its entire being.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
