Tyler Breeze tried to sneak behind Apollo Crews, but Crews caught him with a standing dropkick that sent Breeze crashing into the ropes. Shawn Spears attempted to eliminate Corey Graves, but Graves clung desperately to the top rope, boots scraping the apron.

Ruzev broke free and charged Brodus Clay.

The two giants collided in the center of the ring.

The impact echoed.

They traded heavy blows, neither backing down, until Titus O'Neil joined in, turning it into a three big powerhouse man slugfest at the center of the ring.

Cole's voice rose. "This ring can barely contain this much power!"

Meanwhile, Xavier Woods leapt onto the ropes, springboarding into a flying forearm that took Curtis Axel off his feet. Woods popped up, pumping his fist, but didn't have time to celebrate, as Jinder Mahal rushed in and tried to dump him over the ropes.

Woods clung on, kicking backward, barely saving himself.

Sami Zayn rushed in to help, clipping Jinder's leg and knocking him to the mat.

Zayn and Woods shared a quick nod, then immediately turned on each other, both knowing better.

Tyler Breeze tried to eliminate Buddy Murphy near the corner, but Murphy reversed, lifting Breeze and tossing him over the top rope to eliminate him.

Breeze got lucky and managed to land himself on the apron, shocked by the sudden turn.

Murphy seeing that charged, but Breeze yanked the ropes down.

Murphy flew over.

The crowd gasped as Murphy hit the floor.

Savanna announced it cleanly. "Buddy Murphy has been eliminated!"

Breeze smirked, brushing imaginary dirt off his shoulder before rolling back in.

Apollo Crews launched himself into Shawn Spears with a massive shoulder tackle, then grabbed him and hoisted him up.

One shove.

Spears went over the top rope.

Savanna called it. "Shawn Spears has been eliminated!"

Crews raised his arms to a big reaction.

In the corner, Ruzev finally overpowered Jinder Mahal, lifting him high and dumping him out with brute force.

Savanna announced it. "Jinder Mahal has been eliminated!"

The ring began to thin.

Corey Graves tried to sneak attack Sami Zayn, but Zayn ducked and caught Graves with a lightning fast exploder suplex, sending him sliding dangerously close to the ropes.

Zayn charged again—

Graves pulled the ropes down.

Zayn nearly went out, but stopped himself at the last second, hanging on by pure instinct.

Graves rushed—

Zayn snapped a kick to the chest.

Graves fell back and over the top rope.

Savanna's voice rang out. "Corey Graves has been eliminated!"

The crowd popped loudly.

Cole shouted, "Sami Zayn with an incredible awareness!"

Curtis Axel squared up with Titus O'Neil, the two trading stiff strikes. Axel tried to lift Titus, but Titus powered through, hoisting Axel up and dumping him over the ropes.

Savanna announced it. "Curtis Axel has been eliminated!"

Brodus Clay roared and charged again, steamrolling Fandango and Xavier Woods in the corner.

But his momentum was cut short when Ruzev blasted him with a crushing kick to the ribs.

Brodus staggered.

Apollo Crews joined in.

Together, Ruzev and Crews shoved Brodus toward the ropes.

Brodus tries to fought—

But he went over.

The ring shook as he hit the floor.

Savanna announced it. "Brodus Clay has been eliminated!"

The crowd applauded the spectacle.

There's several competitors left in the ring.

Xavier Woods.

Fandango.

Titus O'Neil.

Apollo Crews.

Tyler Breeze.

Ruzev.

Sami Zayn.

The intensity rose.

Fandango attempted a flashy kick on Zayn, but Zayn ducked and fired back with a stiff forearm.

Titus grabbed Woods and nearly dumped him out, but Woods slid between the ropes and springboarded back in with a flying kick to Titus' jaw.

Apollo Crews and Ruzev squared up again, trading thunderous blows, neither man giving ground.

Tyler Breeze tried to sneak up behind Zayn again, and Zayn caught him.

Blue Thunder Bomb.

The ring shook.

Zayn pulled Breeze up and heaved him toward the ropes.

Breeze kicked and clawed, but fell to the outside of the ring.

Savanna announced it. "Tyler Breeze has been eliminated!"

The crowd erupted.

Cole leaned forward. "Sami Zayn is on fire!"

Ruzev finally overpowered Apollo Crews, blasting him with a brutal kick and shoving him over the top rope.

Savanna called it. "Apollo Crews has been eliminated!"

Titus O'Neil charged to Ruzev, which was big mistake.

Ruzev caught him.

Lifted.

Dumped.

Savanna announced it. "Titus O'Neil has been eliminated!"

The ring came down to three.

Sami Zayn.

Xavier Woods.

Ruzev.

The crowd rose to their feet.

Woods and Zayn shared a look, respect mixed with urgency.

Ruzev charged.

Woods leapt, Zayn ducked, causing Ruzev to nearly lost his balance.

Zayn and Woods struck together, chopping Ruzev down piece by piece.

Woods hit a spinning kick.

Zayn followed with a corner clothesline.

Ruzev staggered.

They charged together.

Ruzev went over.

Savanna's voice cut through the noise. "Ruzev has been eliminated!"

The building erupted.

Two remained.

Sami Zayn and Xavier Woods.

They circled.

Woods struck first.

Zayn fired back.

They traded everything, kicks, forearms, and heart.

Woods tried to dump Zayn out, but Zayn reversed.

Zayn charged.

Woods ducked.

Zayn stopped himself just in time—

Turned—

A huge big boot.

Woods collapsed into the ropes.

Zayn shoved.

Woods fell.

Savanna raised her voice.

"Here is your winner… and the FIRST EVER… NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION… SAMI ZAYN!"

The bell rang.

The crowd exploded.

Zayn dropped to his knees, hands over his face, overwhelmed.

Cole shouted, "What a moment! What a match!"

Josh added, "Sami Zayn just became the workhorse of NXT!"

The championship was handed to Zayn. He lifted it high, tears in his eyes, the crowd chanting his name as history was made once again.

The atmosphere barely had time to settle after Sami Zayn's coronation.

If the North American Championship battle royale had been about proving who could carry the load, this next contest was something far heavier. This was about identity. About legacy. About who would define an entire brand before it had even fully taken shape.

Cole's voice carried a different weight now, reverent and electric all at once.

"Josh… we have seen the queen of the women's division. We have seen the future of the tag team division. We have seen the heart of the singles division. But now… now we determine the very soul of NXT in the main event. The man who will stand above all others. The inaugural NXT Champion."

Josh could barely keep the excitement out of his tone. "This isn't just about a title, Cole. This championship isn't just about being the best in the ring tonight. It's about being the standard bearer. The locker room leader. The face of the future."

"And it will all be decided," Cole continued, "in one final, monumental Battle Royale. The stakes have never been higher."

The lights dimmed slightly, the crowd buzzing in anticipation, a low roar of expectation humming through the building.

Then the music hit.

One by one, they came.

Bryan Danielson or now knowns as Daniel Bryan was first, the reaction immediate and thunderous. He walked out with that familiar intensity, eyes scanning the crowd, jaw set, as if the magnitude of the moment only sharpened his focus. He slapped hands on his way down, rolled his shoulders, and slid into the ring, already stretching, already preparing for a war.

Kevin Steen or now Kevin Owens followed next, smirking as he stepped through the curtain. He soaked in the boos and cheers alike, arms spread wide in mock humility before pointing to the ring and patting the invisible championship around his waist. He climbed in slowly, eyes never leaving Danielson.

Bray Wyatt emerged next, lantern raised high, his presence instantly changing the air in the arena. But his monsters were absent, now preoccupied with their new tag team titles. This was Bray's personal crusade.

"The Eater of Worlds… Bray Wyatt," Cole said, his voice hushed. "With Harper and Rowan having already made history tonight, Bray Wyatt now looks to claim the ultimate prize for himself."

The crowd buzzed uneasily as he swayed at the top of the ramp, whispering unheard promises before lowering the lantern and stalking toward the ring. He didn't rush. He never did.

Taylor Rotunda or now was known as Bo Rotunda followed, a stark contrast in demeanor, focused, determined, nodding to himself as he walked, clearly aware that standing across from his own blood could define him.

Roman Leakee stepped out next, broad-shouldered and confident, the crowd reacting to his sheer presence. He moved with purpose, eyes forward, a future star already radiating inevitability.

Roman Leakee stepped out next, broad shouldered and confident, the crowd reacting to his sheer presence. He moved with purpose, eyes forward, a future star already radiating inevitability.

Adam Pearce came out next, the prototypical heel manager wrestler, strutted out in a sharp suit, looking around as if he already owned the place, a veteran who knew this might be his one chance to etch his name into something new.

Claudio Castagnoli or now known as Cesaro, a physical specimen of pure power and European elegance, and his entrance drew a loud reaction, fans already buzzing at the thought of his strength and athleticism in a match like this. He rolled his shoulders, cracked his neck, and stepped into the ring with quiet confidence.

The energetic, J rock theme of Yoshi Tatsu brought a burst of speed. Tatsu sprinted to the ring, bowing respectfully before assuming a fighting stance.

Then, a pause. A strange, avant garde violin note. Then another. A slick, funky bassline slithered underneath. The crowd's murmur turned to confused excitement.

A man in elaborate, flamboyant pants and a fur coat walked out, his movements a bizarre, captivating mix of swagger and otherworldly grace. He struck a pose, one arm outstretched, head tilted back.

"SHINSUKE NAKAMURA!" Cole exclaimed, as much in confusion as in excitement. "The 'King of Strong Style' from Japan! This is a huge acquisition for NXT!"

Nakamura drank in the reaction, his expressions a performance in themselves, before sauntering to the ring with an unmistakable aura of star power.

The pace didn't let up. The high flying, intense PAC was next, his eyes blazing with a need to prove himself the best aerialist in the world.

Then, a gothic, ominous tone. Out walked Thomas Van Dyck, his pale skin and stark black tattoos visible under a simple black hoodie. He sat cross legged on the stage, then rose slowly, his eyes like chips of ice. "Aleister Black," Josh whispered. "He doesn't walk to the ring. He appears."

A genuine shockwave hit the arena next. The opening chords of "Fallen Angel" hit, and the veteran, the consummate professional, Christopher Daniels, emerged in his full ring gear, a look of solemn determination on his face. He spread his arms slightly, then marched to the ring, stepping through the ropes with veteran confidence.

"Christopher Daniels! What is he doing here?!" Cole yelled. "The Fallen Angel, a legend of the independents, is here to make history in NXT!"

Finally, the psychotic, unhinged theme of Eric Young signaled the last scheduled entrant. Young, burst out with wild eyes, screaming at the crowd, a perfect capsule of beautiful chaos.

Thirteen men. A staggering array of styles, from technical mastery to brute force, from dark mysticism to pure, unadulterated charisma. The ring felt hallowed, charged with the weight of what was to come. The referee called for the bell.

DING DING DING!

Chaos erupted instantly.

This wasn't cautious. This wasn't measured. This was survival.

Bryan and Cesaro immediately gravitated toward one another, locking up in a flurry of European uppercuts that echoed through the arena.

Owens charged straight at Pearce, driving him into the corner with reckless abandon.

PAC went after Nakamura, the two trading blistering kicks and forearms that brought the crowd to life.

Roman Leakee bulldozed Yoshi Tatsu with a massive shoulder tackle, sending him rolling across the mat.

Bo Rotunda squared up with Eric Young, the two trading wild strikes near the ropes.

And Bray Wyatt… watched.

He lingered in the corner, eyes darting, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Cole's voice rose over the noise. "This is not a match you ease into. Everyone knows what's at stake!"

Aleister Black sprang into action, catching PAC with a sudden roundhouse to the ribs before PAC fired back with a kick of his own.

Christopher Daniels leapt into the fray, dropping Eric Young with a snap suplex, then turning straight into a knee strike from Nakamura.

Bryan rocked Cesaro with a sharp kick to the chest, then another, and another, before Cesaro answered with a brutal uppercut that sent Bryan reeling.

Owens tried to toss Pearce over the ropes early, but Pearce fought back, elbowing Steen in the side of the head and nearly sending him over instead.

Roman grabbed Yoshi Tatsu again, lifting him high, but Tatsu slipped down, firing off rapid strikes, trying desperately to hang on.

Wyatt finally moved, flattening Bo Rotunda with a running crossbody that shook the ring. The crowd reacted loudly as Bray stood over him, laughing softly.

The first elimination came fast.

PAC and Nakamura battled near the ropes, PAC charging—

Nakamura sidestepped.

PAC went over the top rope, desperately grabbing at the ropes, but Aleister Black appeared out of nowhere with a sharp kick to the hands.

PAC dropped to the floor.

Savanna's voice cut through the noise. "PAC has been eliminated!"

The crowd roared.

Moments later, Roman Leakee finally muscled Yoshi Tatsu up and over with a massive shove.

Savanna announced it. "Yoshi Tatsu has been eliminated!"

The ring continued to churn.

Eric Young tried to surprise Christopher Daniels with a sneak attack, but Daniels caught him, hoisted him, and dumped him cleanly over the ropes.

"Eric Young has been eliminated!" Savanna called.

Owens and Pearce resumed their battle, this time near the ropes. Steen feigned a strike, then caught Pearce with a sudden superkick, sending him stumbling backward and over the top. Savanna announced it. "Adam Pearce has been eliminated!"
