...
To the huge, absolute shock of everyone in the seventy thousand seat arena, Sandro slowly raised his trembling, gloved hands into the air. He curled his fingers, leaving only two digits extended. Right in the face of the most dangerous man on the planet, the bruised, battered, bleeding God King gave out two, perfectly extended middle fingers.
The Georgia Dome let out a massive, collective gasp!
It was an image of pure, unadulterated, sociopathic defiance that would instantly become an iconic, legendary photograph in the history of professional wrestling.
"I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!" Cole yelled, completely losing his mind at the sheer audacity of the gesture. "He has no respect! He has absolutely no fear! He is spitting in the face of death itself!"
"The ego on this kid is unbelievable!" Booker T shouted, shaking his head in a mixture of awe and horror. "He is literally begging Brock Lesnar to end his life!"
Even JBL, the man who had defended Sandro Zhang's every single action, was completely horrified by the completely unnecessary provocation. JBL grabbed his headset, practically in tears, and pleaded directly to the champion.
"Sandro, what are you doing?!" JBL shrieked. "Stay down! For the love of everything that is holy, just stay down! You have nothing left to prove! Don't make him angry! Play dead!"
But it was far too late for that.
Lesnar, standing over the fallen champion, looked at the two middle fingers perfectly extended in his face. The dark smirk instantly vanished. The Beast's eyes went entirely dead, completely devoid of any humanity. He was even more angered now. This wasn't just about making a statement anymore, this was about absolute, physical extermination.
While Paul Heyman stood on the outside, a big, genuinely shocked look on his sweaty face, even he hadn't expected the God King to be this incredibly, stupidly defiant, Lesnar went to work.
Lesnar reached down, entirely ignoring the middle fingers, and grabbed Sandro Zhang by the waist. The Beast hauled the limp, exhausted body of the Triple Crown Champion entirely off the mat.
Lesnar locked his massive arms around Sandro's waist, arched his thick back, and violently launched Sandro Zhang completely over his head with a catastrophic German suplex!
Sandro landed directly on the back of his neck, folding like a cheap accordion.
But Lesnar didn't let go of his waist. The Beast maintained his iron grip, dragging Sandro's lifeless body right back up to his feet. Lesnar arched his back a second time, launching the God King into the air with another devastating German suplex!
"He's throwing him around like a ragdoll!" Lawler yelled, pure shock in his voice.
Again, Lesnar didn't let go. He hauled the champion up for a third time. With a primal roar, Lesnar executed a third, impossibly high German suplex, releasing his grip this time and sending Sandro flying completely across the ring!
The brutal, unyielding sequence of three massive, consecutive German suplexes completely destroyed the champion. It was a terrifying display of raw, unparalleled power, a sequence that would later become legendary, known to the entire world as the absolute genesis of "Suplex City."
Sandro lay completely crumpled in the corner, entirely unmoving. His defiance had finally been beaten out of him.
But Lesnar wasn't finished.
The Beast marched over to the corner. He reached down, grabbing Sandro by his sweat soaked hair, dragging the completely unconscious God King back to the center of the ring. Lesnar effortlessly hoisted Sandro back up onto his massive shoulders.
Lesnar looked out at the seventy thousand screaming fans, letting out a terrifying roar that echoed into the night sky. He spun his body, launching Sandro into the air.
F-5!
The second F-5 was even more devastating than the first. Sandro crashed into the canvas with sickening force, entirely motionless. The Beast had officially put down Sandro for good.
The fans, of course, let out massive, deafening cheers, absolutely thrilled to see the untouchable tyrant of the WWE finally left completely broken in the center of the ring. The locker room Rebellion hadn't been able to finish the job, but Paul Heyman's new monster had executed the God King with extreme prejudice.
At this time, seeing that the coast was entirely clear and the destruction was complete, Paul Heyman slowly, carefully slid under the bottom rope and entered into the ring. He carefully stepped over the broken body of Sandro Zhang, a wide, absolutely joyous smile returning to his face.
Heyman reached down to the mat, picking up the heavy, gleaming World Heavyweight title that had fallen off Sandro earlier. He then knelt down next to the unconscious God King, entirely unbuckling the prestigious WWE title from Sandro's waist, stripping the champion of his ultimate prize.
Heyman stood up, cradling the two massive championships. He walked over to his new client, bowing slightly, before then giving the titles directly to Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar took the World Heavyweight Championship in his left hand. He took the WWE Championship in his right hand.
The Beast Incarnate walked to the center of the ring, entirely ignoring the United States Championship still laying discarded on the canvas. Lesnar stood over the broken body of the man who had claimed to be a god, and slowly, powerfully raised both massive titles high into the air.
He was declaring his absolute, undeniable intention for the two top titles in the industry. He hadn't just returned to make an appearance, he had returned to conquer the entire universe.
"Look at this image!" Cole shouted, his voice echoing with historical weight as the crowd roared. "The Beast has returned, and he has immediately set his sights on the absolute pinnacle of this industry! Sandro Zhang's empire is dead, and the era of the Beast has officially begun!"
"We are looking at the new ruler of the WWE!" Booker T agreed.
The visual of Brock Lesnar, the most dangerous man on the planet, standing tall with the gold while the former untouchable God King lay completely destroyed at his feet, was an image burned into the retinas of every single person watching.
Slowly, dramatically, the camera began to pull back from the ring, capturing the sheer scale of the Georgia Dome and the deafening noise of the seventy thousand fans. The bright stadium lights began to dim, and the broadcast slowly, perfectly faded into black, leaving those who watched from around the world to process the absolute, paradigm shifting shock of the last scene they saw tonight.
The broadcast faded to black, but the true aftermath of WrestleMania XXVII had only just begun. The seismic shockwave that rocked the Georgia Dome immediately violently transferred itself into the digital realm.
The fans, still riding the adrenaline high of one of the most chaotic, paradigm shifting pay per views in sports entertainment history, immediately exploded onto Twitter.
Within minutes of the copyright logo flashing across the screen, WWE completely monopolized the global conversation, rocketing to the number one trending topic worldwide. Hashtags like #WrestleMania, #BrockIsBack, #GodKingDown, and #SuplexCity entirely dominated the social media landscape, crashing servers in localized pockets as millions of wrestling fans frantically scrambled to process the unbelievable ending to the show.
The overarching narrative that immediately dominated the timeline was the stark, undeniable contrast between the Sandro Zhang of this year and the Sandro Zhang of the past. Fans vividly recalled the landscape of the previous year.
WrestleMania XXVI had been the grand, triumphant debut of the God King on WrestleMania and his golden empire. It was some time after Sandro Zhang officially arrived in the WWE, and there was where he make an immediate, history making impact by winning the inaugural Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale. He had stood tall, the ultimate victor among thirty men, with the help from the Undisputed System who arrived. It was a rapid, dominant ascent to power.
But this year, the script had been violently flipped.
WrestleMania 2011 was universally agreed upon as the absolute dive into the deep end for Sandro and the Undisputed System.
The signs of the empire's fracturing were evident even before the main card officially began. Due to how incredibly packed the WrestleMania match card was this year, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale had been relegated to the pre show.
The seventy thousand fans filtering into the stadium had watched thirty superstars brawl for supremacy, and in the end, it was the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show, who had stood tall, tossing his final opponent completely over the top rope to secure the massive trophy.
But the victory carried a massive, highly coveted stipulation. As per the rules established since past year's iteration of the battle royale, the winner was guaranteed a singles championship title shot on the brand they were currently part of.
In a post match, in ring interview, the massive seven foot, four hundred pound giant had pointed a massive, meaty finger directly at the WrestleMania sign and publicly declared his intentions.
He wasn't looking at the Intercontinental Championship. He was looking directly at the United States Championship, a title currently held hostage by the Triple Crown Champion.
Fans on Twitter immediately connected the dots, their tweets filling with a mixture of awe and absolute panic for the God King. The narrative was crystal clear, this had to be the definitive end for Sandro Zhang.
Not only had he just been physically dismantled by a returning Brock Lesnar, but he now had the World's Largest Athlete actively hunting him down for one of his three championships. A giant and a beast were closing in on the wounded king from both sides.
Beyond the collapse of the golden empire, the wrestling world was also completely captivated by the legendary extension of the most revered streak in the industry.
The fans passionately talked about the Undertaker, pouring absolute reverence onto their timelines after watching the Phenom push his unbelievable, mythical WrestleMania record to 19-0 after defeating Triple H in their barbaric No Holds Barred match.
The sheer physical toll of that bout, ending with the Undertaker knocking out the Game with Hell's Gate but being physically unable to leave the ring under his own power, was praised as a masterclass in storytelling. It was a stark reminder of the grueling, physical reality of the sport, setting the emotional table perfectly for the main event that followed.
But inevitably, the conversation always circled violently back to the Undisputed System. The fans began to meticulously tally up the scorecard for the faction, and the results were absolutely staggering. Of all the Undisputed System members who had walked into Atlanta with title matches tonight, the casualty rate was catastrophic.
Kofi Kingston had been violently kicked out of the sky by Sheamus, failing to retrieve the Intercontinental Championship. Big E and Ryback, the massive enforcers of the faction, had been completely outsmarted and defeated by the reunited, nostalgic force of the Mega Powers, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, losing their World Tag Team Championships. Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre had suffered a chaotic, heart breaking defeat at the hands of Rated RKO, failing to reclaim the WWE Tag Team Championships and officially sealing their exile from the faction.
The only member of the Rebellion's hit list who managed to survive the night, aside from the God King himself, was AJ Lee. And as the fans loudly pointed out online, she had only retained her Divas Championship through blatant, desperate cheating, entirely relying on the timely, chaotic outside interference of her fellow Queens, Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss, to escape the genetic superiority of Charlotte Flair.
The reality of the situation was stark. The once entirely untouchable faction had been reduced to a mere skeleton crew. The fans noted that now, the only individuals left holding gold under the Undisputed System's banner were Sandro Zhang with his Triple Crown, AJ Lee with the Divas title, Dolph Ziggler and Xavier Woods with the NXT tag team titles.
This drastic shift in power instantly ignited a massive, fiercely polarized tribal war across social media.
On one side were the God King loyalists, the fans who, much like JBL on commentary, refused to accept that the empire was vulnerable. They argued fiercely, typing out long, defensive threads asserting that Sandro Zhang was simply trimming the fat. They claimed that he never needed Kofi, Big E, Ryback, Wade, or Drew in the first place.
They pointed to the main event as absolute proof, arguing that Sandro had walked into a torture chamber with Chris Jericho completely alone, survived without any outside interference, and retained the ultimate prize in the industry.
To them, the Undisputed System wasn't dying, it was simply evolving into a more concentrated, lethal force centered entirely around the undeniable greatness of its leader.
On the other side of the digital battlefield were the fans who were absolutely, unconditionally ecstatic. They celebrated the undeniable fact that Sandro Zhang and the Undisputed System's suffocating stranglehold on the WWE championship landscape was finally, visibly beginning to disappear.
They reveled in the visual of Wade and Drew sitting broken at ringside, and they cheered the sight of the Mega Powers holding up the tag team gold. For these fans, the arrival of Brock Lesnar and the betrayal of Paul Heyman signaled that they were definitively entering a new, chaotic, and incredibly exciting chapter of the WWE story. The untouchable tyrant was bleeding, and the sharks were officially circling in the water.
As the night wore into the early hours of Monday morning, the discourse naturally shifted to an in-depth, critical analysis of the brutal main event itself. The "I Quit" match between Sandro Zhang and Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship immediately entered the pantheon of instant classics.
Fans and critics alike praised the unique psychology of the bout. Even though the "I Quit" stipulation inherently allowed for the use of any weapons and meant the competitors could brawl anywhere outside of the ring without fear of count outs or disqualifications, the match hadn't devolved into a mindless, chaotic garbage wrestling spectacle. Instead, their match showcased how pure, brutal physical striking, elite technical grappling, and inhuman cardiovascular resilience could produce a masterpiece of suffering.
