(A/N: Don't forget to give those power stones to Skyrim everyone!)
...
Drawing on his legendary reserves of strength, Big Show planted his boots on the mat. With a guttural roar, the champion deadlifted Drew McIntyre right off the canvas, holding him suspended in the air with one arm, before slamming him down with a brutal sit out powerbomb!
The impact broke the submission hold instantly. Both men lay motionless on the mat, sweat pouring off their bodies, their chests heaving in the humid arena air.
The referee began his count.
One. Two. Three.
"What an incredible display of raw power by the Big Show," Cole marveled. "But you can see he's favoring that right arm. McIntyre's strategy did some serious damage."
By the count of seven, both men were using the ring ropes to pull themselves to a vertical base. Drew was the first to strike, lunging forward with a heavy European uppercut.
Show retaliated with a massive right hand, though it lacked its usual snap due to the injured shoulder.
They stood toe to toe in the center of the ring, trading heavy, exhausting blows. The Seattle crowd chanted with every strike.
YAY! for Drew.
YAY! for Show.
YAY! for Drew.
YAY! for Show.
The audience was deeply invested in the sheer toughness of both competitors.
Drew gained the upper hand, delivering three rapid fire punches that backed the giant against the ropes. Drew grabbed Show's arm and tried to whip him across the ring, but the giant wouldn't budge. Show reversed the Irish whip, sending Drew sprinting toward the opposite side. As Drew rebounded, Show lowered his head for a back body drop.
Drew saw the opening. He stopped his momentum, kicked the giant squarely in the chest to stand him up, and hooked both of Show's arms.
"He's got the arms hooked!" Cole shrieked, half rising from his seat. "Can he hit the Future Shock DDT?!"
With a herculean effort that strained every muscle in his back and core, Drew McIntyre goes to pull down the four hundred pound giant into the ground, drove him face first into the canvas with a picture perfect Future Shock DDT!
The KeyArena erupted into a frenzy of noise.
"FUTURE SHOCK!" Lawler screamed. "He hit it! We are going to have a new champion!"
Drew, completely exhausted, crawled over and draped his arm across the giant's massive chest.
The referee dropped to the mat.
One!
Two!
Thre—NO!
Big Show kicked out, throwing his massive shoulder up with such force that Drew was launched into the air, tumbling backward into the corner.
"He kicked out!" Cole yelled, his voice hoarse. "I can't believe it! The Big Show survived the Future Shock!"
"That's because the giant has a skull made of concrete, Michael!" JBL barked, refusing to give Drew an ounce of credit. "McIntyre threw his best shot and it wasn't enough!"
Drew sat in the corner, staring at the champion in disbelief. He ran his hands through his sweat drenched hair, trying to figure out what it would take to keep the monster down. He slowly got to his feet, retreating to the opposite corner. He looked at Big Show, who was slowly, agonizingly pushing himself up to his hands and knees.
Drew began to stalk his prey. He backed into the corner, his eyes wild, waiting for the giant to stand.
"He's setting up for the Claymore!" Lawler warned. "If he hits this, the match is over!"
Big Show slowly climbed to his feet, turning around to face the challenger. Drew let out a primal scream and charged forward, launching his massive 260 pound frame into the air, aiming his boot right for the giant's jaw.
But Big Show wasn't going to be caught twice.
As Drew flew through the air, the giant swatted him away like a fly. He caught Drew mid flight by the throat, wrapping his massive fingers tightly around the Scotsman's windpipe.
"Chokeslam!" Cole cried out. "He caught him!"
Big Show lifted Drew high into the air and slammed him down into the mat with a thunderous Chokeslam!
The ring shook violently. Show didn't waste a second. He dropped his massive weight onto Drew's chest and hooked the leg.
One!
Two!
Thre—NO!
Drew McIntyre got his shoulder off the mat! It was an impossibly close 2.9 second kickout.
The crowd went into absolute hysterics. The noise level was deafening. Fans were clutching their heads, unable to believe the resilience of the Scottish Psychopath.
"Drew McIntyre simply refuses to die!" Cole shouted passionately. "The heart, the determination of this young man! He wants to be a champion so badly he is willing to leave his soul in that ring!"
"It's a testament to his toughness," Lawler agreed. "Both of these men are putting on an instant classic!"
"It's a testament to stubborn stupidity," JBL grumbled. "Stay down, you traitor."
Big Show sat up, a look of genuine shock crossing his bruised and sweaty face. He looked at the referee, holding up three fingers, questioning the count, but the official shook his head firmly. It was only two.
The champion slowly climbed back to his feet. He looked down at Drew, who was gasping for breath, barely conscious on the mat. The Big Show knew that grappling and slams weren't going to be enough. He needed to turn off the lights.
Big Show backed himself into the far corner of the ring. He took a deep breath, clutching his injured right arm. Ignoring the agonizing pain in his shoulder, he slowly pulled his massive right fist backward. He balled his heavily taped fingers together, clenching his jaw as he locked and loaded the Weapon of Mass Destruction.
The Seattle crowd rose to their feet in a unified wave. A low, rumbling hum began to build in the arena as they realized the end was imminent.
Across the ring, Drew McIntyre was using the top rope to pull his battered body upward. His legs were wobbly, his eyes glassy and unfocused. He wiped a mixture of sweat and blood from his forehead, leaning heavily against the turnbuckles just to stay upright.
He slowly, unsteadily turned around, stumbling directly into the center of the ring. He was a sitting duck.
Big Show let out a thunderous roar. He stepped forward, his massive right arm swinging through the air like a wrecking ball, aiming the devastating knockout punch squarely at Drew's jaw.
But Drew's eyes suddenly snapped into sharp focus.
Operating purely on adrenaline and muscle memory, the Scottish Psychopath dropped to his knees at the very last fraction of a second. The giant's fist sailed harmlessly over his head, the sheer force of the missed swing pulling the Big Show off balance.
As the giant stumbled forward, Drew sprang up from his knees. He hit the opposite ropes, building a terrifying amount of speed in the blink of an eye.
The Big Show spun around, trying to locate his target.
Drew McIntyre launched himself into the air, his body flying parallel to the mat, his heavy combat boot accelerating right toward the champion's face.
"CLAYMORE!" Cole shrieked, rising from his desk.
The boot connected flush with the giant's jaw, a sickening, concussive impact that sounded like a baseball bat striking a heavy bag.
The four hundred pound champion was turned inside out. His eyes rolled back, and he collapsed backward, hitting the canvas with a catastrophic thud that sent shockwaves through the ring posts.
The KeyArena exploded in a chorus of screams and cheers.
Drew McIntyre hit the mat hard, completely drained of energy. He dragged his heavy, exhausted body across the canvas, crawling desperately toward the fallen giant.
He draped his arm across the Big Show's chest, burying his face in the mat, hooking the massive leg with everything he had left.
The referee dropped to his knees, his hand raised high, ready to count the final fall.
The crowd counted along, their voices unified in a deafening roar.
"ONE!"
The tension in the arena peaked, every single eye glued to the canvas, waiting to see if the giant had anything left, or if a new era was about to be crowned in Seattle.
The referee's hand slapped the canvas for the second time, the sound echoing sharply through the breathless KeyArena.
"TWO!"
The crowd was practically vibrating, the collective anticipation peaking as the official raised his hand for the final, decisive strike. But just as his palm began to descend toward the mat, the Big Show's survival instincts took over.
With a sudden, violent surge of raw power, the giant kicked out.
The force of his massive shoulder breaking the pin was so intense that it literally launched Drew McIntyre's body off of him, sending the Scotsman tumbling backward across the ring.
The Seattle fans let out a massive, booming cheer, thrilled that the grueling war was going to continue.
Drew sat up, his chest heaving, his face a mask of utter shock. He stared wide eyed at the referee, holding up three trembling fingers, silently begging for a different reality. But the official simply shook his head, holding up two fingers to confirm the count.
"I don't believe it!" Cole yelled over the noise of the crowd. "The Big Show just bench pressed a two hundred and sixty pound man off his chest to save his championship!"
"That is the heart of a veteran, Michael!" Lawler praised. "He refuses to let this kid take his gold!"
"Beat him down, Show!" JBL cheered from the desk. "Put this traitor out of his misery!"
Drew took a deep breath, wiping a mix of sweat and spit from his chin. He slowly pulled himself up using the ropes and retreated to the corner. The shock melted away, replaced by a dark, homicidal focus. If one Claymore wasn't enough to keep the monster down, he would just have to take the giant's head clean off his shoulders.
Big Show was struggling. The champion was barely able to push himself up to his hands and knees, his equilibrium shattered by the first kick. He slowly staggered up to a vertical base, swaying unsteadily in the center of the ring.
Drew let out a fierce Scottish battle cry and exploded out of the corner, sprinting at full speed. He launched his body into the air for a second Claymore, extending his heavy combat boot straight toward the champion's jaw.
But the Big Show wasn't completely out of it. Relying on twenty years of ring awareness, the giant saw the incoming strike. He didn't have the time to dodge, and he didn't have the balance to block.
Instead, in a desperate, split second decision, Big Show pulled his right arm back and threw the Weapon of Mass Destruction straight forward, aiming not for Drew's head, but directly at the incoming boot!
CRACK!
The collision between the giant's concrete laced fist and the thick leather of Drew's boot was sickening.
Drew let out a sharp cry of agony, crashing awkwardly to the mat. He immediately clutched his foot, rolling around the canvas in excruciating pain. The impact had completely deadened his leg, sending shockwaves of pain shooting all the way up to his hip.
"He punched the boot!" Lawler shrieked, clutching his own headset. "The Big Show just countered the Claymore with a knockout punch to the foot!"
"What an incredible counter!" Cole marveled. "But look at the champion! That had to shatter every bone in his hand!"
Big Show was clutching his right fist against his chest, gritting his teeth in pain, but he knew he had his opening. He limped forward, reaching down with his massive left hand, and grabbed Drew by the throat. He hauled the crippled Scotsman up to his feet, preparing to deliver a match ending chokeslam.
Drew was trapped, his right leg refusing to support his weight. As the giant lifted him into the air, Drew realized he had only one weapon left. Utilizing every last ounce of his core strength, Drew grabbed the giant's arm, pulled himself inward, and snapped his head forward with vicious intent.
THWACK!
A desperate, skull rattling Glasgow Kiss headbutt connected perfectly with the bridge of the giant's nose.
Big Show's eyes rolled back, and he instinctively released his grip, stumbling backward. Drew crashed to the mat but refused to stay down. Ignoring the searing pain in his leg, he forced himself up, hooked both of the staggering giant's arms, and let out a guttural scream.
With the last remnants of his energy, Drew violently drove the Big Show head first into the canvas with a second, picture perfect Future Shock DDT!
The ring shook. Drew didn't even have the strength to hook the leg properly. He simply collapsed his exhausted body across the giant's massive back, draping his arm over the champion.
The referee dropped into position.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THREE!"
DING! DING! DING!
The heavy, triumphant wail of the Scottish war pipes blasted through the KeyArena. The crowd erupted into a deafening roar of approval, acknowledging the absolute war they had just witnessed.
"HE DID IT!" Cole shouted, his voice cracking with emotion. "DREW MCINTYRE HAS DETHRONED THE GIANT!"
"What a match!" Lawler applauded from the desk. "The Scottish Psychopath promised he would win his first singles championship tonight, and he delivered on that promise in a true classic!"
JBL sat with his arms crossed, shaking his head in bitter disgust. "It's a dark day for Monday Night RAW. A backstabbing turncoat is now holding a prestigious championship. Sandro Zhang is watching this from home, and I guarantee you, he is sick to his stomach."
In the ring, the referee handed the gleaming United States Championship to the exhausted victor. Drew McIntyre slowly climbed to his feet, favoring his injured leg, but the pain was masked by a massive, intense smile. He raised the championship high above his head, fulfilling his promise to the world. He had stepped out of the God King's shadow and carved his own name into the history books.
As the broadcast moved forward, the Seattle crowd was treated to a relentless barrage of high quality wrestling. The women's division showcased a fierce, technical bout that kept the audience invested, while backstage promos fueled the lingering tension surrounding the absent Sandro Zhang and the fractured Undisputed System.
But as the clock ticked closer to the end of the broadcast, a heavy, dangerous atmosphere settled over the KeyArena. The fun and pageantry of professional wrestling were stripped away. It was time for a fight.
A chilling video package played on the TitanTron, detailing the violent, escalating blood feud between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. It highlighted the mercenary's betrayal, the brutal Spear that broke the Beast in half on RAW, and the unhinged locker room clearing brawl that required twenty men to separate them.
The video faded to black, and the words flashed across the screen in bold, blood red letters, UNSANCTIONED MATCH.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Cole spoke in a hushed, serious tone. "We have reached our main event. What you are about to see is not recognized by the WWE Board of Directors. There are no rules, no count outs, and no disqualifications. The match will only end by pinfall, submission, or if a competitor is medically unable to continue. The WWE assumes no liability for the damage that is about to occur."
SCREEEEEEEEEECH!
The apocalyptic guitar riff of "The Next Big Thing" ripped through the speakers, and the crowd completely lost their minds.
Brock Lesnar marched out from behind the curtain, looking like a terrifying force of nature.
He was flanked by Paul Heyman, who carried a smug, vindictive smile, completely confident in the destruction his client was about to unleash. Lesnar wore his signature MMA style fight shorts and taped gloves. He didn't bounce to the music, his eyes were locked onto the ring with a predatory, dead eyed focus. Lesnar paced around the squared circle, waiting patiently in his corner as Heyman stood safely on the outside, gripping the ring apron.
