Jua Gu simply stood there with his shirt still half undone, staring at the woman who was putting on such a pitiful act in front of her husband.
He could tell exactly what she was doing.
What surprised him more was that the man on the other side of the call seemed to be falling for it.
Or at least, he seemed to be.
Ying Rui's voice sounded bored and dull, almost lifeless, as though he barely had the energy to care about what was happening.
He really didn't sound interested at all. "Where is he?"
Mo Yuxin immediately lowered her head, pretending to hesitate before answering.
"I… I think he locked himself in his room. He's with that man as we speak. What should I do, honey? I… I really don't know what to do anymore."
Her voice trembled as she spoke, and she even glanced toward Jua Gu with a frightened expression.
The corners of her lips almost curled into a smile when she thought he wasn't looking.
Jua Gu noticed it anyway. 'Nice acting…' He simply raised a brow.
