While Vaarh, Adam, and Alexia were talking after he woke up, other, but no less important, events were taking place on the surface.
The first to notice this was, oddly enough, the Head Golem.
The barrier he had guarded for many years was gone, as was the Ancient Voice that had given him instructions all these years.
Now, all of that was gone.
The Head Golem knew what that meant. The owner of the Frost Oasis had awakened and moved on to the final battle.
"I see..." The Head Golem's hoarse voice rang out as he looked into the distance. "So they did it and made it to the end? After all those who tried to do it, do they really have a chance of winning?"
The Head Golem remembered Adam's words and Alexia's actions. They looked like two arrogant Phantoms who had only just learned to use the Ancient Energy here, which was the minimum required to pass through the barrier.
Now, they had shown that it wasn't just words, but their goal, and they had almost achieved it.
