Tron didn't sense any threat from Adam's new ability. He realized that the black spear was most likely an upgraded version of the white one, but he didn't see anything unusual except for the red eye symbols on Adam's gloves.
That is why he decided to block this spear in the same way as the last one — using the glass barrier.
Strangely enough, he managed to do so without difficulty, until…
The black spear didn't destroy the glass barrier. It just vanished and reappeared on the other side of the barrier.
Now, Tron had a split second to react. Otherwise, the black spear would pierce his throat. He wasn't strong enough to ignore it.
Fortunately for Tron, that was enough time for him.
Crack.
Channeling his energy into his legs, Tron leaped to the side.
The black spear whizzed past his neck, leaving a shallow cut.
'No way!' he exclaimed inwardly as drops of blood flew before his eyes. 'What happened to that spear?! Did it teleport? Yes… That's exactly what happened.'
Whoooooosh.
