The most important meal was breakfast.
In this day and age, life moved at a fast pace, and few people could eat breakfast at a fixed time. Most dealt with it casually; some even skipped breakfast altogether. In the morning, the stomach was empty. Without breakfast, there was nothing for the stomach to process, which could easily wear it down, leading to stomach diseases.
This concern had suddenly occurred to him. He decided he had to change Julia's daily routine. For the health of Julia and the baby, sometimes he needed to be appropriately domineering.
