She had made up her mind that no matter how difficult it might be in the future, she would stay by his side unless he personally told her he didn't want her. But Aurelia believed that Kevin would never abandon her, nor would he easily give up on her or cast her aside in this lifetime.
There was another more important reason; within the next year, she would become a mother.
The child was the reason that completely changed her decision, giving her the courage to stay by his side.
Kevin was stunned for a moment, almost unable to believe his ears, incredulous, "You... what did you say?"
Could he have heard wrong?
Was he hallucinating?
"Did I hear you right? Or... are you joking with me?"
Hadn't she decided to leave with Arthur?
