For Kevin Gregory's mother to swallow her pride and say these words to her, it's already a huge concession.
Aurelia Wood frowned and persuaded, "Kevin, no matter what, she's your mom. If you treat her like this, and she can't think straight and does something foolish, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. I don't want there to be any regrets between us."
Kevin Gregory sat down, took her hand, and smiled, "Why are you so nervous? She treats you this way, and yet you still care about her?"
His smile left Aurelia completely puzzled, "You can still smile!"
Seeing the smile on his face, Aurelia continued, "She's your mom. I chose to marry you and be with you, so I must also call her mom. How could I not care?"
"That's why my wife is kind." He smiled, completely different from his earlier angry demeanor.
It seemed that his earlier anger was just for show.
Aurelia didn't understand what he truly meant, "Stop praising me, what are you really thinking?"
