Alan Morgan wasn't sure how to explain things to Gerry Peary. After all, in Gerry's memory, these past seven years had been spent with his mother.
"Gerry, she just wants to use you to get money." Alan Morgan looked at Gerry Peary with painstaking earnestness, his heart aching that his child had been deceived.
"No!" Gerry Peary became extremely agitated, roaring in anger. He then struggled to get out of bed despite Alan Morgan's attempts to stop him.
"You're a bad man! Gerry doesn't like you! If Gerry had to choose between Dad and Mom, Gerry would choose Mom!" Gerry Peary struggled hard, forcefully pushed Alan Morgan away, and stood barefoot on the floor.
"UGH..." Pain contorted Alan Morgan's face as he clutched his abdomen where Gerry Peary had struck him. Despite Gerry Peary's young age, the seven-year-old had surprising strength.
