Something's definitely off.
"Uncle?"
Nia called out tentatively again.
The CEO huffed in displeasure.
"What is it?"
Uh... That cold, icy voice... it was definitely the CEO.
"You should hurry up and eat."
Nia urged him, but Maxwell Peary still ignored her.
"I'm not eating. You don't care."
Damn it! That phrase again! The CEO is definitely possessed today.
"Oh, come on, don't be like this."
When it came to wheedling, Nia was an expert.
Sure enough, just that simple sentence, and a certain CEO had already softened a bit.
"Then you have to come back early tonight—"
If he didn't say it, who knew when Nia would stop her wild escapades out there. She was on her period these few days; she should be resting properly.
"I know, I'll definitely come home early."
Nia immediately promised; she hadn't planned on staying out too long in the first place.
Hearing her words, Maxwell Peary's expression, which had been gloomy all day, finally brightened considerably.
