Andrew's frown deepened as he slowly walked up to her.
"Do you really dislike me that much?"
He hadn't expected Shirley's desire to return to her home country to be so strong.
It seemed she had never forgotten about that man.

Shirley sat on the sofa, her hands tightly clenched, the veins on the back of her hands protruding.
"You know the reason I agreed to you."
Biting her lip, her mouth was filled with a metallic taste.
She wasn't sure what she should do, all she could do was take it one step at a time.
"Andrew, I really want to go back. Please, let me. I can give you money, lots and lots of money. Would you spare me, please?"
Shirley couldn't bear the deathly silence any longer and spoke up immediately.
She could borrow money; she could borrow from Ethan Martinez, she could borrow from Alan Morgan.
All she wanted now was to go back. She wanted to see Gerry, she wanted to see Alan Morgan.
