Thinking about the mischievous act she had just committed, Vera Wave felt slightly guilty and, after some thought, decided it was best to come clean.

Kris Cooper lifted her left hand gently, his fingertips brushing against the side of her fingers. His gaze fell on her bare middle finger, and he leaned down to lightly kiss her hand.
"Now, I also want to do something bad."
"I meant..."
She was about to continue, but he leaned in, lightly pressing his lips against hers.
"Right now, don't talk."
He lifted his hand, moved hers aside, and pressed it onto the bed. He spread her fingers, intertwining his with hers, and his lips touched her face again.
Kissing her forehead, her eyebrows, the tip of her nose... and then returning to those sweet lips.
It was only when she began to pant heavily, almost out of breath, that he moved his lips away. His kisses landed on her ear as he propped himself up on one arm, pulling her hand to his chest.
