Kris Cooper gently pinched her small cheek and said with a smile, "The new game still has some bugs that need fixing. I have to go back to work, so I can't have dinner with you. Rest early tonight."
"So busy?" Vera Wave straightened up, her concerned gaze resting on his face. "You should also rest early and not stay up too late."
Kris Cooper smiled gently. "I'll be fine. You go on inside!"
